Franchise24 training log 2016/2017

third attempt deadlifts is such a rush for me. its like the world just stops and i get really intense tunnel vision. i dont hear anything except whats going on in between my ears.

@franchise24 i feel you on the schedule thing man. life has been pretty chaotic for myself the last month. will be moving at the beginning of next month and then again, out of state, at the beginning of next year. i hate moving, or helping people move, so god damn much. but i always get roped into helping people move.

im not too far from @Gobuckeyes0122 and it is definitely a sellers market right now by me. my boss just listed his house and sold it within 5 days of it being listed. my girlfriends brother listed theirs and it sold in 2 weeks. this was all within the last month or so too.
It's kinda the opposite where I'm at. Houses are sitting on the market for awhile. There is this really nice 3 bedroom for $150000 which I think is cheap in a nice area that's been listed now for over 3 months. My wife really wants it but where not in position yet to buy. I'm trying to make her understand lol

That is awesome. Wish I had some property out there.

I hate moving. I did it so much in the military. Between deployments and moving to different apartments. Fucking hate it. Once we settle in I know I won't unpack my clothes until I wear them all and then have to wish them. I got use to living out of a bag being in the military. Oh well fuck it lol.

Changing somethings up this week, since it will be another 4 day in a row training week. I will remove one deadlift session this week. I will most likely dedicate Friday to deadlifts.

I will mostly likely squat every day for the rest of this week. I need to get my groove back. I won't be going over RPE 9. I most likely won't go to RPE 9 and stay at x8 RPE 8.

Squatting is my favorite. I've done the squat everyday routine for a month. And when I look back it. I was more mobile doing that routine then only squatting twice a week.

When it comes to squatting I need frequency. Without a frequency, I loose my groove easy. That two week layoff killed me. I should be close to 600 on my squat by now, if it wasn't for that freak accident. That had me layoff squats for Almost two weeks.

I feel on the frequency. That's why I started doing light squats on Wednesday so I can get another day in to work on form.
 
The more squat days you add the more you'll have to adjust daily stress to maintain a similar overall weekly stress FYI.
I agree. I won't be going anywhere near maximal effort. Just working finding my groove again. None of my lifts this week will be above 80%.

Will this help me get back into groove? If not can you suggest something that will get me back into my squat groove?

Lat Pulldowns:
150 4x15

Squats starting to feel better now. I work with 315 the day before for 5x8 and I felt off, slow and no explosiveness out of the hole. But 315 today with a 3 count paused felt smooth and explosive out of the hole. Groove felt better. But not quite there yet.
 
Due to all the things going this week I most likely won't get to the gym today. Eventhough my gym is 24 hour access. I like to spend time with the family unless wifey is pissing me off then I'm in the gym.

Between moving waiting for delivery of appliances and furniture. My wife's car decides to take a shit. I've had to take her to work and pick her a few days this week, squeezing my workouts in between all of this.

My wife got into a car she had no clue on the amount of maintenance it was going to require.
So a few grand on repairs and maintenance for her car.

But I'll be back at it tomorrow.

Yeah she doesn't want it anymore lol. $5k to for maintenance and repairs this week.

The guy has some giddy up. Just a light press on the pedal and it takes off. But she doesn't use it to it's maximum capabilities.
Yeah dude, that auto has got to have some good horsepower. Twin turbo man, 400+ easy.

Alright I'm a day late with this. But we are finally moved into our new house. Tired as fuck.

Competition Squat

  1. 145 2x10

  6. 415 failed. I was fucking pissed. This was what I was doing 6x3 with 405 6x3 paused 495 1x3. Until some freak accident kept me from squatting for 2 weeks.But it's cool. I'll get back into the groove. Just sucks when weight that is normally easy is now fucking stapling me in the hole.
