Absolutely. For me the only thing( and is the method I used ) you can do is build relationships & friendships over time. It's not foolproof by any means but it's gotten me some great buddies & good products.

If you contact OGH privately and say "Hey OGH, I don't source by PM but I've been selling to a few guys I know. If you're interested, hit me up.", is OGH going to post your PM to the open forum? Should he post it?
What do you think is going to happen if the so-called "cops" light you and OGH up for doing business privately? I'll tell you what - you're going to say "Go fuck yourself! What OGH and I do privately is none of your fucking business."
So what is it that you expect the "cops" to do? If you want to stop guys from asking, offering, selling or trading with friends in private, then say so. Then tell us how we're going to stop it.
