I now feel that this incident has pretty much ruined it for BB69 as who knows I bet he's now getting PM's left and right about this private lab.
You should have known better, Alaskin...you could have asked him privately to clarify what he said to you in that PM, rather than going off half-cocked.

I see guys posting constantly about how the solution to all their AAS woes is finding a private source. I've never believed private sources offered anything more than public sources - even started a tread about it - but that doesn't change the fact that everybody believes otherwise.
OP didn't misread the Meso politics, he misread what he was offered. He knows he fucked up, but he can't take it back now - he's locked in. He only has two options: Admit he fucked up and look like an idiot, or stand his ground. Agreed CBS because in instances of this nature one can either "admit they fucked up" by openly apologizing AND accept the criticisms coming their way OR they can "stand on principle"" when there are NONE.
While the former may be difficult to bear ultimately bc most folk understand to error is human, the net effect is often enhanced credibility.
