Okay so what the hell, I started bulking about 8 days ago, before I started bulking I was eating around 2000 calories a day of mostly clean food, (steak, tuna, chicken, turkey) and now I eat the same food but instead eating around 3500calories a day, I work a very physical job 8 hours a day 3 days a week so on these days I eat 4000 calories a day and train 1.5 hours every day, so on the day I started bulking I was 172 pounds, every day since I've gained 1 whole pound. So I'm now at 180. And no, I'm not using steroids, why the hell am I gaining weight so fast???
Is this bad? I'm pretty sure it is lmao

Nah man it's not bad, when you weighed your self at 172 you were probably just on the light end of your weight fluctation.
Have you gained any strength? Fat?
I'm guessing you haven't reached your genetic potential yet so you able to gain weight at an alarming rate. You'll eventually plateo.

Crazy strength gains, I'm 16 and this is my first REAL bulk, so yeah I guess that would explain it, yes there are some fat gains mostly on my face, and a little on my stomach but I don't really mind it i don't mind cutting for a while.

I
Youre gaining weight because you have increase your daily caloric intake by 1500-2000 cals.
forgot to mention I did have some what of a gradual increase, I added about 100 calories to my intake per day, over about 2 weeks, so it wasn't a TOTALLY sudden increase in calories, if that even matters anyway...

because your eating too much food? Every 3500 cals = 1 pound. If you want to bulk slower, adjust your calories. 1 pound a day is over aggressive, dont dig yourself into a body you cant get yourself out of. Try for 1 to 2 pounds a week, 3 max.

Do you have a goal body weight? a goal timeline? when do you want to cut? will you have the time to drop x pounds of fat to reach x bodyfat. Write a schedule.

Actually 4075 calories = 1lbs. Body burns x amount of cal and what's left over is what he's gaining (fat, water, or muscle).
