hello guys i have been running 8iu of HGH (4in the morning 4 post workout) an have been doing 10iu humalog with the 1st meal 5iu humalog pre workout and 10iu humalog post workout, by the way first time ever using insulin and im running it for two weeks only being 3 days on each week the other 4 days i dont take insulin or HGH. Till now every time i shot the insulin i felt starting to go hype and i would sip on my shake accordingly just to maintain me with enough blood sugar to not go hypo, i noticed that way i would not go hypo because when i shot the insulin and drinked the whole shake at once 10min after i would go hypo and needed to take extra carbs. yesterday i had my 5iu pre workout and nothing i mean i was warming up in the leg curl machine had only 10g of carbs and nothing, i finished 4 hard sets of 8/12 reps and nothing, no hypo at all, so i went home an had 15iu post workout this time (my blood glucose was at 82 by that time) and took only 20g of carbs and nothing again no hypo at all, i mean of course im not looking to go hypo but i would expect to start feeling with that amount of insulin. is it that my body is gaining resistance to exogenous insulin? by the way i can get prescription to my insulin so it is 100% legit. any toughts on that thank you

Your first run with insulin is 25iu a day?

You’re already counting the cardinal sin; scaling carbs to insulin instead of scaling insulin to carbs. If it’s only been two weeks it’s highly unlikely you’re resistant, but this is pretty aggressive.

Yes actually i did that from start then i find out it wasnt meant to be like that but the thing is that it is working, ive gained 9lbs so far and lost half an inch of waist line. i have my of season diet calculated on aprox 5000kcal 4400of those are from chicken breast egg whites rice, sweet potatos and fruits and the other 600kcal aprox are from the simple carbs to take with the insulin. any advice i would appreciate

What was your fasted BG readings before adding insulin? What are they now?

That’s a good amount of insulin. Where are your carbs during those meals (how many?) It may be worth it to change that 10iu humalog in morning to 10iu lantus and just do 5 & 5 pre and post. That should be enough to take that burden off your pancreas and maintain good BG numbers. Even if you’re eating 200g carbs in a post workout meal, that 5iu insulin should be enough to help and you won’t have that issue of going hypo every 10 minutes. Going hypo is a good indicator that you’re overdoing things and something’s not right.

Before insulin and hgh was in the 80's sometimes lower 80' sometimes higher, now the days after my hgh i get some 90's to 100 2 days without the HGH goes back to the 80's, i assume it is due to the 8iu of HGH

Fasted glucose is also such an isolated case of slightly high bg, you’d want to check your A1C. With those bg numbers I’d guess you’re in a very good range and not resistant.

Morning i take 10iu humalog with 50g of simple carbs 15 minutes after i eat 300g of rice 150g of pineaple us 100g of cream of rice.
Pre workout i take 5IU Humalog with20g of simple carbs and i have a intra workout shake with another 70g of carbs.
Post workout i take 10iu Humalog with 50g of simple carbs and 15 minutes after i eat my solid meal.
What i mean is that before i always started to feel hypo, i didnt went full hypo because i would sip on the carbs shake in those 15min window post slin, and now literally nothing, this last time post workout blood glucose was 82 i took 10iu of humalog and only 20g of carbs nothing... after 10min i took another 5 iu and still nothing, i guess i would at least start to go hype with only that amount of carbs and all that slin
