I have an XL and I’m sub 175 at the moment I think it should go more by bicep size really. You should be able to slide it up snug to your biceps

Cool thx u. Yea the reg one has you measure but the full boar is by weight. Go figure
Depends on the website. Some have the arm size chart and some have the weight chart.

I'm just over 6'3 and around 230-240 I use a XXL full boar, my friend is the same height at 180lbs and uses a XXL original.

Weight and arm size matter, but so does height because of the distance it's going to be stretched based on elbow travel

Well guess this is gonna be one of those wait and see things. Thx

@Seven Dog I squatted in the Adipowers today. Definitely much more stable than the Nike Romaleos 3. I won't compare them to the Adidas Powerlift 3.1 based off of heel height and the heels of the shoes are made of different material.

Overall I love both shoes. Can't go wrong with either. I'd stay away from the Romaleos 3. They tried to go with just one metatarsal strap and a lighter more pliable show. Making them not has solid as the Romaleos 2 or the Adipowers.

How are the Powerlift 3.1 for cardio? (Stairmill, eliptical, walking on treadmill)

I won't run in these but I'm looking for a lifting shoe that I don't have to switch out of for my cardio.

You could do the eliptical, stairmill, and bike. I've used the ones I have on the eliptical and bike. I just wouldn't use em on the treadmill bc it would wear what little tread they have off.

Youre better off bringing other shoes. I dont even where my romeleos outside. Save em for the lifts. They should last a long time if treated right

I like to use mine for some over loading. Say I do like a 5x5 with 365 then I'll do a 3x5 with 405 with the slingshot. I also like to go like 105% of my 1rm to stimulate my CNS to get used to heavier loads.
Thanks i was thinking something similar.

Started building some little 2x2 platforms for block pulls in the future today while i had some down time at work. Not done. Still going to paint them, and also get some of those heavy duty stall mats to top them with which should bring them to about 3". As well as make some 1" extensions so i can adjust them for higher block pulls and such.

Exactly like mine sept I put a bottom plywood board to keep er looking clean. Extension is a good idear!

Thats not a bad idea for the bottom, can't seem to find the mat thickness i was hoping for the top so i might end up doing that to get it to the desired height, or maybe some cool colored polycarbonate. I have some neat deep red stuff laying around the shop.

But yeah for the extensions i am going to drill some 3/8 holes in the bottom of the main box and add some heavy dude dowels to the tops of the extenders so they can stack without any worry of them sliding around.
