Gear review

Anyone have the strong elbow sleeves? Any feed back on them or a different brand you like. IveI been reading this thread but didn't see anything about elbow sleeves. Didn't have time to read the whole thing though, I'm sure it is in here somewhere. I've been battling some tendinitis, or golfers elbow I'm my right arm from repetitive motion at work. Anyone have similar issues, and used the sleeves? Does it help? Thanks guys!

I’m ordering them this week when I get paid and can let you know. I’ve got the strong knee sleeves and love them. I also deal with tendinitis and have some cheap Ace bandage elbow sleeves just for warmth. I need a upgrade. I also have the utility wraps from how much ya bench, definitely worth the money to get good gear.

My knee sleeves double as elbow sleeves

I bought rehband sleeves and i would recommend them. Haven't tried any of the others, but compared to not running any they are a definite improvement.

I run the slingshot knee braces, so compared to them i would say they are similar.

Anybody use the Schiek Double Prong lifting belt? Seems like good cost to performance. Good Bang for the buck?

Ive herd about the SBD belts. Definitely would like something cheaper. Cant imagine its 300% better than a $100 belt. Anybody use the Izner lever belt?

I know alot of guys who use Pioneer and DB Gear since they're more affordable

Had my inzer lever for about 10 years now. Don't foresee ever needing another one.

Alright, @RodgerThat sorry for the delay on this.... review of Mark Bell's Strong Series Belt. I'll try to be as detailed as possible.

Here we go:

It is a 10mm belt and I believe it's XL size. The whole gimmick behind this product is that it comes already broken in... and it absolutely does. I took another picture to possibly give an idea of the flexibility to it and this was the same right out of the box:

Most of the other cheaper belts I've bought would have wanted to open back up... they were always a pain to put in gym bag but this belt wraps up and stays that way.

It hasn't cut into me at all, pretty comfortable although, belts are usually not the most comfortable item, this one feels good other than keeping a pretty tight grip. Definitely no leaving it on between sets.

I accidentally got the thicker belt first time around. It did cost me a restocking fee equal to the shipping cost to send the fucker back too, which I did not appreciate especially since I now have another separate item I want to exchange. Anyways, the thicker belt was not nearly as flexible. It was a heavy duty fucking belt lol. Something, possibly, that might be something to have just for meet day for a slightly better edge? However, the one I have now I found to be a lot better. The thicker one was much stiffer and would have required some breaking in.

This was an expensive belt... much more than I've paid for any other piece of gear. I think it was about $120... Thicker one is $130 or so.

It was really worth the money in my opinion, although this is also my first "real belt" so I don't have a ton of equal comparisons. I'd really recommend it to anyone if they wanted to have a nice belt. I honestly feel that this belt is rugged enough to last.

Okay, shilling complete. :)
Im in the market for a lifting belt. You still liking that belt? Also seems that the Inzer makes a good belt. No competition lifting here. Just looking for a solid belt for training.

Fuck yes. Just used it for skwaat day. Will never wear another belt again.
Still liking the belt? Trying to decide what belt to buy so thanks for any reviews.

Yeah man, it's great... I am undecided about buying a new one because I have slimmed down so much that this one will soon be borderline too big. I'm teetering on the edge right now and could probably do better with smaller. I also thought about getting a leather hole punch and adding holes to this one.

There's another custom leather place I ordered a deadlift belt from, they're good too. I'll have to look and check the brand name... I forget at the moment. The strong belt is best for squats... Little bit big for anything else.

You looking for just an all around belt for back support on all lifts?
