I'm waiting on a pair of these to come in. Seems like everyone at the gym is using them. They are not as firm as the Romaleos or the adidas counterpart to the Romaleos.

I asked Layne Norton he was squatting in an older version. If they compressed at all. He said if they did compress it's negligible. He Chuck's compress much more.

I'm waiting on the same pair that @Seven Dog has. Nice pick up @Seven Dog.

Thanks man. I've never seen Romaleos or Adipowers irl and I was struggling to answer his question.

Look im not in to fashion at all.
I dont wear anything for fashion or to make a statement and i dont wear designer clothes to look cool. I dont run out and buy some thing because its "in" or "popular". So i feel a lil stupid about asking questions like this cuz it feels like its some thing i already should know but...you can only squat in these shoes? There not made for general "gym duty"?

You can leg press in them. You can if you choose to do calf raises in them.

Being that you're big on from squats and you front squat more than many back squat. These shoes will place a little more emphasis on your quads. So you should see more quad development. If you choose a a shoe with a higher heel than it will place more demand on your quads. You can use them for over head presses. Any Oly movement.

Some Powerlifters use them so that get their heel down to the ground with a high arch setup and legs back. You won't be stuck just squatting in them.

They are hard to find at the mall. I think @theprodgicalson said he got a pair at the outlet.

You can order them on Eastbay, rogue. Eastbay gives 20% military discount. If you don't like them send them back.

I fucking hate dodging ppl. Malls suck. The people in them suck worse. Anxiety central

I know the feeling. I avoid malls, traffic as much as I can and crowds. Hard to do living right outside of a major city.

You could do almost everything in these. Deadlifts would be the only thing that you probably wouldn't do bc of the heel height. It would make the pull longer. You don't do those anyway right? Every other lift should be no problem.

You wouldn't wanna running on the treadmill with em either. The bike would be okay though.

I'll have more feedback for you later. Free returns at Adidas also, but you do have to pay shipping.

I should have the ones you just got tomorrow. I also tried on a pair of the adidas Adipowers at the gym and they felt better than the Romaleos. So I got those in today.

With my hips being tight right now. I believe do to a possible hip flexor strain. I might have to get back into heels higher than .5.

But I got both adidas all black.

Those all black Adipowers look sweet. All I wear is black.

I was using Inov-8 Bare for squats. A little heel made a difference. My hip clicks and hurts most of the time, so I hear ya.

Both my fucking hips click. I have some arthritis in my hips as well.

Physical therapist said I might near surgery much further down the line the other day. But also said if I continue to stretch and work with her that there is a possiblity I won't need it.

I was all ready to go into surgery now if it was just to clean up some things. Short term recovery. Lol

Damn! What does a clicking hip mean? I'm actually a little freaked out about it. My mom had both hips replaced pretty young....early 50's maybe I think.

Cool! No deadlifting, no running. ✔
Guess im good there :)

Warm them up better before squats. There are some hip swings i always do. Get that blood flowing. Hip thrusts work well too. The unweighted variety
