Gym Shamming

If some dude is rowing with only 65#, guaranteed I can beat his ass. I am a lover though, not a fighter.
Haha, that's funny. Most MMA fighters aren't rowing much more than 135lb, but we both know they would fuck you up; strength is one of the least important elements to fighting.
 
Fucking short fat little old man at my gym uses the clubs blow dryer to blow dry his mass of pubic/ass hair in the locker room. He stands there in front of the mirror with one leg up in the air looking like a male dog taking a piss. Fucking disgusting. I have seen some guys pick it up and go to use it, i tell them what I have seen and I usually get the same reaction: they drop it back down on the counter then go wash their hands lol

And I would say that anybody with any kind of professional mma fighting would probably beat my ass.

Regardless, how much someone rows has nothing to do with their fighting ability. Also, do you know the difference between the "#" and a "lb/kg"?

This is nasty. I saw a guy throw his leg up on the counter and shave his nuts in the sink. WTF! I thought it was bad when guys were shaving it in the sauna but in the sink? Come on.
 
Back to gym shamming..
1. Douchebags who don't pick up, or return weights after using.. You put 20 fucking plates on leg press then take them off...Also don't run off somewhere w dumbbells and not rack them.
2. People that stand around talking, usually monopolizing a machine or rack..Must be jaw day...geez

The guys that get bitchy when you call them out on it.

Don't even bother anymore. If they're more than five minutes and I'm waiting, I'm loading shit for myself. Fuck their shit.

I thought we were under attack.

Lol yeah but the kids that work there don't give a shit how loud anyone is or what they do to the equipment. Good and bad. They'll turn it (lunk alarm) on just to fuck around. They've caught me off guard with it a couple of times, little bastards. Lol

My current gym has one too (Fit4less)
I just make sure to deadlift EARLY on a Monday or something... same as you 4amish.

That's my only earthquake workout, I'm pretty respectful and quiet.

Things that annoy me?

1) Curling in the rack area......
GTFO, I will go full sideways, the guys that do this are typically small bitches... there are never enough squat racks for sqautting, let alone some fuck doing curls.
2) Weight hoarders
This guy had like 6 sets of DBs around him.... apparently he was using them?
Fuck you, I'm taking what I need... silently... while making eye contact for my entire set.

3)Chilling on the Quad extension between sets.
Buddy, I just need to squeeze in... we can share!

Yeah, when they're the same size it doesnt matter. If Brian Shaw got ahold of 155lb guy his training wouldnt matter. Theres a limit to it.

My favorite guys to roll with are the small fucks. They're slippery as hell and take forever to blow up.

Guys in that 185-205 range gas out inside of four or five rounds usually. Most of the heavyweights are huffing at three or before if you make them work.

My experience anyway. Pretty sure its because everyone focuses on 'fun run' type shit for cardio.
 
Yeah, I'm not talking about 50lb difference. Theres limitations though, some people think that anybody who trains MMA has some magical skills. A 155lb dude couldnt even put Brian Shaws arm behind his back. Some people train and train and train and still cant fight. You either have it in you or you dont. I'm not talking about pros obviously, they can.

The PF knockoff gym I go to has them too but they disconnected them so no issues. The manager if he is there and your dropping your deads will come ask you to stop or lighten the weight. But he is pretty good to deal with. Some of us have been asking for more free weights and racks and he has been listening and adding more a little at a time

Fit4Less is the same PF knockoff gym Ingo to lol. Our lunk alarm is disconnected

At least you have Olympic bars. Frickin PF has no bars. Man I hate them!!! Yet I would franchise one so I could make fat bank off the clowns who have memberships that never go except first Monday and second Tuesday.
 
What are these alarms you guys are talking about. I go to 24 and the one I go to just put in 6 Olympic platforms and new bumpers. That sucks you can't drop shit

Their racks are not very sturdy and was doing 500lb rack pulls and setting the bar down would knock off all the weights hanging on the rack, thankfully that was 5am and no manager lol.... During the day I set the bar down a lot slower on my deads now so it's not so bad. Dont mind this gym price is definitely right just not geared fully for my goals bit works for now.
