I'm having a hard time understanding Column 3 in Fig. 1. It's not the author, I just don't understand--so the reader lol
Unrelated to a degree--some of the literature out there kills me, they use Active Life and Half Life interchangeably and I know the 2 are different. You see this kind of thing on items where they're explaining compound profiles.
Edit: Fig 1. Column 3 is the amount eliminated from the body right? It make sense when I look at it that way. 25% left, 75% eliminated.
Perfect, I knew I was starting to understand. I might have to pick up your book bro. I noticed a link to it there. Nice write up btw, this helped clear some stuff up, as the forums and websites out there DO NOT explain this clearly at all.Col 3 of Fig. 1, labeled "Percentage of initial 200 mg injection remaining" is the percentage of each successive half-life that remains in the body. So, 50% remains in the body of 200 mg after 1 half-life, then 75% remains in the body of that 100 mg after 2 half-lives, so on and so forth. That is to say that half-life decreases at a decreasing rate (i.e., natural logarithmically).
