Half-Life vs. Reality (Article)

I'm having a hard time understanding Column 3 in Fig. 1. It's not the author, I just don't understand--so the reader lol
Unrelated to a degree--some of the literature out there kills me, they use Active Life and Half Life interchangeably and I know the 2 are different. You see this kind of thing on items where they're explaining compound profiles.

Edit: Fig 1. Column 3 is the amount eliminated from the body right? It make sense when I look at it that way. 25% left, 75% eliminated.

Col 3 of Fig. 1, labeled "Percentage of initial 200 mg injection remaining" is the percentage of each successive half-life that remains in the body. So, 50% remains in the body of 200 mg after 1 half-life, then 75% remains in the body of that 100 mg after 2 half-lives, so on and so forth. That is to say that half-life decreases at a decreasing rate (i.e., natural logarithmically).

The way it's usually simplified is to say that "each successive half-life results in a smaller absolute amount of substance decaying, although the proportion (50%, 1/2) remains constant."

Perfect, I knew I was starting to understand. I might have to pick up your book bro. I noticed a link to it there. Nice write up btw, this helped clear some stuff up, as the forums and websites out there DO NOT explain this clearly at all.

That's great, explains a lot how I became a horse when I continuously used Equipoise for a lengthy time.

Jokes aside, this is very informative and eye opening write up @Type-IIx, I truly believe half life is very individual thing in reality. You explain it further and deeper on how it all works. Good job.

This back ups the saying that we are all different and we have to find what works for us. Amazing stuff. Thank you.
