Is it really that bad with a hand pump? I have seen ppl filtering quite quick with one.Filtered all 200mL Testosterone Decanoate 300mg/mL 1%BA 18%BB in MCT oil, in 50 minutes. Decanoate usually takes longer than Enanthate, so Enanthate would be quicker. Also got pretty much all 200mL. A hand pump would take forever.

Enanthate has been pretty quick with hand pump. Decanoate was sort of slow. Whole thread on it here. Never actually switched to 0.45u however. 0.2 µm too slow! Anyone safely use 0.45 µm?Is it really that bad with a hand pump? I have seen ppl filtering quite quick with one.
If you didn't decrease the pump vacuum do you think one could still use that specific pump? I was thinking of buying one but I really don't want to have to fiddle with what you did to decrease the vacuum strength. Are you filtering into a glass media bottle? Could you make an experiment and filter something like 50ml at full power and see if everything comes out good?Enanthate has been pretty quick with hand pump. Decanoate was sort of slow. I believe since the JoanLab vacuum pump is not doing a static vacuum that falls off, more of a constant pumping with needle bobbing plus and minus 3inHg, it works faster.
Regardless, the ability to pour in 100mL at 115F and walk away, instead of sitting there married to the hand pump.... is awesome.
Doing 160mL Nandrolone Decanoate next.
Tren Enanthate won't be for awhile. Only Enanthate ester I brew now. Might get some Masteron Enanthate in the future.
Last 2 brews of 200mL each Testosterone Decanoate and Nandrolone Decanoate were horribly time consuming with a hand pump.
I'll try my first bottle too filter brewing with hand pump soon and decide from there if I wanna splurge on your oilless pump or not. Joanlab is excellent I have that same pump in my cart since 3 months ago but before I wanna see how it Is to do it manually with a brake bleeding kit.GL45 Pyrex Glass Media Bottle.
I will try it. Brewing again Thursday. So in 3-4 days. I can tell you this.
It maxed out around 23inHg.
It will probably hover around 20inHg.
When my hand pump wasn't filtering well, I would get it up to 25inHg to get a decent drip.
So using the 2 bottle top filters I use, it was safe. Zapcap-CR and this one shown.
My harbor freight handpump brake bleeder kit came with the extra pieces. Tee Fitting and 2 plastic tubes. I could have cut the blue hose 8 inches back, cut that into two 4 inch pieces, and just used the blue tube with the 1/4" tee Fitting. Then just add the 18G needle by placing hub of needle into blue hose to let air bleed in.
I had 10mL or so in filter when I tested 25inHg in case something happened to filter fibers.I'll try my first bottle too filter brewing with hand pump soon and decide from there if I wanna splurge on your oilless pump or not. I'm gonna filter into gl45 pyrex media bottle so the too much vacuum.issue is not for the media bottle but for the possible blowing or ripping off filter fibers that's why I was asking if you could do a test and be a guinea pig ahaha
