Help I’m hurt- thigh injury

Well the fact your not black and blue is definitely a plus. Most of these guys definitely gave you most of what you need to know and be aware of. Could be just from braking down the muscle too much and causing an excess in fibrous tears that’s a little more than what your used to and the possibility of not being full recovered could play a role as well in this happening the way that it did. “Feeling good” and actually being “recovered” between sessions are two completely different things which I’m sure your aware of. Just rest up. Ice. I’d honesty be careful with massages for the time being but if you choose to give it a go or use a foam roller or whatever make sure you heat the muscle up before doing so. Get it nice and loose. Give it some time. Take an anti inflammatory and drink lots of water.
This makes a lot of sense. I was kinda pushing it by hitting legs 2-3 times a week.

Im usually the cause of my pain also. Lol. Hope everything is well with you and yours.

Things are okay thanks for asking.

What’s up @Seven Dog thanks chiming in.
I never was tested for CPK but I ironically donated the morning after this happen. It hadn’t swelled up yet. It’s knots when I bend my knee up or down though.

CPK or Creatine levels if high indicate your muscle are broke down, at least that's my understand. Training a lot and run a bar for hrs doesn't leave any time to recover.

Maybe your dehydrated? Donating fucks me up for a day.

Thanks for joining the party. @Oldschool had me cracking the fuck up with that mindless comment earlier. Lol. Hope you’re doing well my dude.

I'm okay bro thanks for asking. Actually though my leg is still fucked up. I have no feeling from my knee down, but it hurts to touch.. if that makes any fucking sense. Lol

And it's still bruised just above my Achilles, which even isn't close to where I rolled.

@MindlessWork is a cunt!

This might be a dumb question but I heard it might help. Would it be a good idea to raise my current hgh dosage from 2.5iu to 5iu for a week or two? I read that it could speed up the healing process or is this just bullshit?

did u do it during a set? u hear/feel a pop at all? ive seen strains/tears that bruise, like mine did but not look like that that looks more like u got an infection. i got one couple years ago hadda be from a dirty pad on pulldown or calf raise. swelled up, all red, hot and hella painful.

Sucks to hear you’re having issues. Did the docs give you a timeframe of when you should regain feeling?

July 2 will be here before you know it. You’ll be back in the game soon enough.

She's not really a doctor, she's a nurse practitioner. I'm okay with that though. She kinda hot. And I've been training and pinning. Lol

Your leg is still fucked up from when you used the stick or is this a more recent injury?

Yeah its still fucked from the stick, that happened on January 1...a couple hrs into 2018. Crazy it's still a issue. Strength is fine, just has an odd feeling and look.

Bump... good question. Like you I’ve read that it aides in the healing process but that’s about it.

My run with gh wasn’t long enough for me to give an opinion. Shit made my resting heart rate high, pissed me off because it was pharm grade and wasn’t cheap.

I ran a peptide (tb-500) a few years back when I had an injury (cant remember exactly, think it was bursitis or a partial pec tear). Call it a placebo maybe ... but it seem to help me a bit.

Maybe @mands could shed a little light on GH healing properties?

Systemic administration of IGF-I enhances healing in collagenous extracellular matrices: evaluation of loaded and unloaded ligaments
This is a good read.

With that said there are some intra-articulated GH therapy but they use high doses of GH.

TB500, BPC-157 and GH combo I would use personally for healing process and recovery.

I guess you could always opt for some Platelet Rich Plasma :) Just hard to finding someone doing any of these in the US.
