Hill sprints

How do you plan on incorporating these sprints into you overall program? Especially in relation to your leg workout. I could see the potential for overtraining but then again I know there can be a lot of benefit. I do low impact hiking and walking as my only cardio and wouldn't mind taking it up a notch and think a few uphill sprints once a week would work. BTW i'm 49 so I will be proceeding with caution.

I haven't figured it out yet. I'm training EOD atm and that's lifting with 10 minutes hard cardio at the end before I stretch off. I don't actually know how the hell to incorporate it. I may not bother, I'm starting to feel and look quite buff so fuck it I'll just do a bit of jogging with the dog now and then I think or once in a while do the hill sprints to rinse myself out! It's a pretty good buzz, I'll give it that!

That may be the best approach. You wouldn't want to do anything to hinder your muscle gains. Unless you plan on being a runner, in which case you would look like a runner.
