LOL niceFast Food said:The Peoples Thumb..... Helping Presidents win the Election since 1856!!
I wouldnt be suprised if that happens by the end of summer. Of course, if that happens, then the liberals will all be screaming "Bush has had him in custody for 6 months, just waiting till right before the election to announce it!"nickw said:It wont hurt to find bin laden either
So is that what we really want, a service based nation? This does not solve the problem the fact our country is running off paper profits(Big Problem).Bob Smith said:The US has been shifting from an industrial to service-based nation for the past 20+ years. Everyone is bitching about the loss of 2 million jobs, blah blah freakin blah. How many of those people are now considered contractors and making the same wages? Quite a few, but we wont know for another year or two (based on 1099 tax returns). Those arent unemployed people, but they are counted as such based on the unemployment statistics. I am counted as unemployed, but am really a 1099 person.
Oh, and lest anyone forget that the current unemployment rate is lower than what it was when Clinton ran for reelection. Considering that the recession officially began under Clinton, why blame Bush for all the loss in jobs?
Saying Bush is in bed with big business is the same as saying bears are dangerous animals. No shit. Is that a surprise to anyone? Not in the least! But is he the only one? Youve got your head about 12 inches up your ass if you believe that. Kerry is as bad, or worse, than Bush. A quote from the Washington Post "Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.), who has made a fight against corporate special interests a centerpiece of his front-running campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination, has raised more money from paid lobbyists than any other senator over the past 15 years, federal records show."
Do you think Gore would have done a better job than Bush, on any issue? How about terrorism? He probably would have buried his head in the sand and thought the problem went away. Gore probably would have appologized to the Saudis for our buildings having killed 18 of their men. Kerry would be no different.Crazedlifter said:So is that what we really want, a service based nation? This does not solve the problem the fact our country is running off paper profits(Big Problem).
I know this problem has been brewing since before Bush but he is definitely not trying to make any changes. Plus I hate Bush.
I think anyone could do a better job than him.
Also, after all that in Iraq our Gas prices will still be skyrocketing and has arleady begun!
Ive never met or known of a "real war vet" who throws his medals away.Crazedlifter said:Kerry was a real war vet unlike Bush.
That's a bunch of bull shit, Yeh he went to Nam. but he didn't do any fighting, infact someone that was over there with him said he was the first one to run for cover anytime the shit hit the fan..........11Crazedlifter said:Kerry was a real war vet unlike Bush.

If a Libertarian was running and had a chance of winning, I would certainly vote that route.Crazedlifter said:Yeah I don't know what he was like back then and am not saying he is the man to choose. Politicians are all pretty much scumbags. I will vote Liberatarian if possible!
I am just saying Bush needs to go.
