Anyone have a surgical correction? Well, I had one done yesterday. It HURTS like a bitch. I can hardly walk without bending over in pain.
I noticed the hernia about three months ago. It gradually grew to where it was the size of a baby's head, but was easily reduced. I called it my alien friend due the bowel sounds that could be heard.
Anyway, it is fixed, but talk about pain. I had back surgery in '81 that was not even close to this pain.
This was a first for me. Although, I have done over 20,000 anesthetics, I have never been under general anesthesia.
It is a small world. The anesthesiologist knew me from decades prior and said I was the reason he went into anesthesiology. Weird!
I will take the pain pills. And, hopefully not make more of a fool of myself. One day off puts me 100s of articles behind on my reading.
