The mask shows now retarded our world is. Look, I wear a mask, but I wear an n95 or above and it fits and I only reuse it a couple times then I open a new one. If you do it that way, the mask can protect you. But nobody does that.
These idiots still walk around with blue surgical masks (which are absolutely worthless), with their noses sticking out. All summer I saw these clowns walking around. Imagine not understanding germ theory (agree with the theory or not, it doesn't matter. It's taught in schools and it's easily a common sense approach and not hard to understand). But imagine not understanding germ theory and you're still wearing a loose fitting moldy mask on the street?

Tried to read through the 80% "are you dumb" and the 20% of opinions/ facts that actually lead somewhere in a discussion.
I see a pattern that we paint a very detailed picture with extremely broad strokes here. Covid 19 was not a hoax and the vaccine was not a hoax, but we (the people, not the government) made it a hoax. You involve enough people in anything and we get a group who needs to do/ think the opposite, and unfortunately, those screaming loud enough will get followers. Now we involved the entire world, that will gain some traction (confirmation bias and group identity, nothing new).
Now some of you might have been lucky who didn't get family members or friends dying of Covid, but it was very much real for some. However, I don't personally like using death as an argument since that can be applied to anything and is impossible to debate fairly. Similar to -"My child died of a reaction to the vaccine", Answer: "Yeah, tough luck, it saved a thousand". That is a horrible discussion topic. Lesser evil so to speak.
Making people homeless due to the economy would be a stronger argument for the anti-people, but to each their own.
First it was a problem some made money out of Covid, who the F cares? It won't affect you. The same companies are saving millions, they need that cash even if someone get to ride a lambo to work for it... Then we got masks was a lie and while that is true in some sense since as above, most masks were/ are not genuinely made, those who did use the correct mask correctly saved more.
Masks protected against several other diseases together with alco-gel since we stopped touching everything all the time. Just ride a bus and you see how disgusting people are....
We had so few deaths because some (most) set aside their pride and did it for others. In the end it became almost forced since many places wouldn't let you work, travel or go out if you didn't have your dose (great imo), that saved even more. The argument that the vaccine didn't work needs to read more, it was never the plan to eliminate Covid. We had no clue how dangerous covid could have been, we know today, but we cannot take a chance when the entire world is at stake.
In other words, "Only xxx died and xxx lived, it's a lie" is a crappy argument, you cannot run a country like that, professionals are running pre-calculated data and worst-case-scenario to SAVE. If you think that isn't valid, please never attempt to run your own company (same basis).
Just because you got a covid common cold and didn't vaccinate yourself doesn't mean the threat wasn't real. The vaccine debate has been going on each and everytime throughout history, even Polio had the same debate if some of you are old enough to remember that, or the read is there. Vaccines are horrible, but feel free to pop antibiotics like mentos, that won't have consequences... Most are safe because some did the right thing, most survived regardless since Covid was indeed not as life-threatening as it could have been. Still doesn't mean restrictions and demands wasn't warranted AT THE BEGINNING.
Unfortunately, scared people and misinformation made it ridiculous, dumb, and a lie in the end. Here I agree. We are done, at least until it may mutate further, no need to live in fear anymore. But it did reset the world a little, make us connect more, and brought some of nature back, so it did bring some positivity. Unfortunately, some battle with getting back on their feet and I truly wish them the best, regardless if it is missing someone they love or being able to have roof over their heads.

Antibiotics are extremely overused today, this we can all agree on. However, did you know that if ALL took a common set of antibiotics such as a Azithromycin, ceftriaxone, and just for security doxycycline for a week and abstained from sex two weeks, we would almost eliminate the most common STDs in the entire world, including many other diseases?
Same if we did it with Covid, if ALL did it we wouldn't have (or most likely not have depending on time-frame between vaccinations) mutations which in theory could become extremely deadly.
