Is it ok to ask why a member was banned?

As I was researching something I noticed a member was banned recently.

I wouldn't pretend to know what they were up to in order to trigger the ban. From the little that is visible to me it wasn't obvious.

Can we ask why? Not that anyone is obligated to answer but I don't know if it's prohibited or frowned on to ask why.

Idk about here. But at other boards, particularly UGBB and ProfesionalM it's sad how fast they ban people. Basically if a mod is toxic or insults you, bend over boy because you say 1 word back you banned. But they are all paid boards. Profesional muscle is all about money, probably the worst board I've ever seen. Pay the admins money, you untouchable. Mods delete bad remarks, bam those leaving bad feedback or stickup for others. Its a joke.

So far here seems to be a much better community. Discussion and debate, not flaming than ban.

Hopefully it's 'cause he looked at Millard sideways or had a speech impediment. I for one would welcome a new tyrannical overlord.

As for punishment for someone who follows up on another's behalf, I particularly enjoy drawing and quartering, for its cinematic aspect.

It's okay to ask and depending on the situation he might or might not tell you. He doesn't have to though. Most reasons for ban are pretty obvious though. Usually permanent bans are for serious or repeated offense.

Ugbodybuilding is a joke. Send0’s a 150lb midget that sells his ADD meds to the board and virtue signals about new members posting “misinformation”

They don’t like me over there, I said EO/Guiaicol is toxic, but aparantly I’m wrong about that lol

That board sucks

Ugbb was my first board and is one that I'm still mostly active at.

This couldn't be more false.
Shills, obvious trolls, and lifter clones are the only ones that get a free ticket off the board

Lol I tried signing up and never got out of the initial screening stage. Never did make it through the confirmation. Word must have travelled?

Initial screening phase?
Yeah where you sign up and wait for Admin to unlock your account as a member. I filled out the sign up but never could get access. Emailed the mod through the contact page but no word. Figured I was blacklisted haha.

I regard UGBB as a highly esteemed community. As a member who maintains a good standing within it, I hold great admiration for numerous individuals who consider it their primary forum.

Ahhh,

There was a period where the board was being super trolled by a guy named lifter (lifter8769 or something like that. Also went be @mass gain here as well as a few other handles) so they locked new registrations for a few days until that loser got bored.

Unlucky timing.

To be completely fair to those that have complaints against ugbb.

It's very much NOT meso.
There isn't so much gear talk, there's almost no source talk, and it can be a bit dry for content because of that.
A lot of the core membership are getting older and less involved now. And there aren't many new, active members.

Was always more of a training/lifting forum than a gear forum like this one.

Well maybe you or andrewgen_receptors can let the administration know it ain't me. Thanks for the info.

I'll send him a note too. Appreciate it.
