Is it ok to ask why a member was banned?

Wanted to make good with Millard. Respect the hell out of what he has done to improve harm reduction in this space.
Thank you. I truly appreciate that, @readalot . You have made solid contributions to the forum and I look forward to seeing that continue once again!
thats a remarkable level of maturity that we rarely see on these forums.
I know this too well.

im glad you are back @readalot ,a wealth of knowledge and research that you bring is awesome and you are a contributing factor to this "harm reduction " board,,,, welcome back

I was banned but got my account back. Some dude ive never spoke to in my life not only claimed i was his wife but that i was a QSC rep getting tracey all riled up. I of course couldn't comment and ask wtf because im not able to post on his thread yet..

Thankfully he accepted my email explaining that i have no idea why tht guy picked me to tag as his QSC wife and unbanned me...

@DECLAN was the troll guy from earlier exterminated?
I have already forgotten his name. The ginger lady guy.
Just as I was thinking all the weird threads he started that were full of aggro should get deleted, i checked here again after a while and it's all gone.

Very similar pattern to a few previous new members I've seen...

1. Ask a very vague question in a new thread
2. Argue and ask more stuff
3. Keep it going as long as possible while feigning ignorance and/or expertise that would have made asking the question unnecessary to begin with.

Well, idk.
Unlike you, I have no experience of this kind of thing.
I just found him very unpleasant and annoying.
I end up getting frustrated someone is having fun at everyone else's expense.
It's just vile and horrible.
And then the childish stuff the owner here knows all about comes out.
Tragic but lol.

LOL.

Thanks, I guess.

I should have said "new members" above who were quickly shown the exit. Sorry for vague language.
It's OK, I understand.
I meant you have been around here and other forums for a long time, unlike me, so you have seen it all and can quickly spot a fraud.
So, my bad for vague language.
sorted :)

Sounds kinda like sealioning.

"a type of trolling or harassment that consists of pursuing people with relentless requests for evidence, often tangential or previously addressed, while maintaining a pretense of civility and sincerity ("I'm just trying to have a debate"), and feigning ignorance of the subject matter"

Interesting.
feigning ignorance

Not familiar with this. Happy to tell you if I don't know.

I'd actually call BS on this.

My ratio of trying to provide helpful content to asking for info and ignoring info is pretty low if that is your charge. I've put in some sweat equity on here. But thanks for equating my activity here with a DoS attack.

It certainly wasn't intended to be bad faith effort.
It may take the form of "incessant, bad-faith invitations to engage in debate",[5] and has been likened to a denial-of-service attack targeted at human beings.[6]

He wasn't feigning ignorance, though.
He was just deriding everyone's response because he knew better
