Keto, IF, calorie counting, cutting with bad genetics

Since I’m new to steroids, I’m wondering how much muscle I will actually retain on a cut this time. I always lost muscle before. They always said to lift heavy and be in a calorie deficit. How much does training matter when on steroids? For instance, I know I can drop some pounds fast. Maybe even faster if I just stop training and fast or ear in a deficit. Because my appetite goes away, I don’t have as much inflammation or stress, it’s easier to go without carbs or food because I don’t have the need for them to work out or recover. Just some light cardio or walking or just simply resting more and eating less, I lose weight more this way. I have problems controlling my cravings. But I also hate training on a diet and having no energy and losing my strength. Seeing all my lifts go down. I would rather just lose weight faster snd get back to training for real sooner. Rather than be on a 6 month cut or something. I don’t even have that much strength anyway. I just wish I could train without getting fat. Maybe I should be trying Ozempic or something. I have clen but I don’t like stimulants. They cause mood swings for me. I don’t think I will actually ever look different unless I go on an all protein diet or something like that. Oddly, fasting is easier than eating a meal without carbs. I used to do this but ever since my mid 30’s it has been harder to control the carb intake. I’ve done low fat as well, it works but it doesn’t really change how I look. I just get smaller and then plateau or have mental breakdowns. We are dealing with the worst genetics in the world here people. Please don’t be an asshole. Just give me helpful advice. I don’t care. I enjoy the process and the challenge and that’s what keeps me going.

How much muscle will i lose cutting as on steroids opposed to natural if I train/don’t train, or if I did a crash diet and lost weight really fast on steroids would it actually work or would I still lose a ton of muscle like when I was natural? My idea is just to cut harder and for a shorter period of time even if I lose more muscle so I can get back to training and eating at maintenance or a surplus sooner. Since intermittent fasting or fasting in general is easy for me. Or I may be able to do something more ketogenic if I am not training and having as much need for carbs and therefore lose weight faster even if its more muscle. It should still be much less muscle loss than if i did those things as a natural right? How much if so?
 
Dude you have some major issues going on. I’d highly recommend getting a coach. Get coached through a cut and a bulk.

OP, just follow the simplest program that you can adhere to, build muscle and lose fat in the process while acquiring a lifestyle conducive to muscle building or fat loss.

No need to think about complicated stuff yet. What are your stats and lifting/ped history? Maybe get a coach to keep you accountable and guide you through but if you are fairly new, you can make improvements on your own for a while.

I’m new to roids. About 3 months now. Started 1 month and a half on 500 test e/c, 1 month @750, now 2 weeks on a gram of test. No sides. Subtle nipple twitches goes away with 12.5 aromasin. My estradiol was high though so i been trying 25. 37.5 was way too much. But it is usually only when I increase the dose for a couple weeks and then I don’t have any nipple flare. It’s barely noticeable just kind of annoying. Tried 50 winstrol ed for about 10 days while on 750. Now anadrol for almost 10 days. Seems to be the only oral that doesn’t make me feel like shit. I’m honestly not seeing what any of these roids are really doing for me. I did get my lifts up. They were going up. And seems like I gained less fat than I normally would. Squat is definitely on its way to 315 and deadlift on its way to 405. 265 squat and 365 deadlift. Bench still slow but finally almost 5x5 at 185. OHP about 125. Working on it.

I’m 5’8 195 lbs. Been mostly maintaining around 195 after gaining an initial 10 lbs or so but I also had come back from detraining and quitting. But I have been consistent and working hard since about October of last year.

My problem is two fold. Just physique-wise I do think overall I look better but still pretty high body fat. Maybe more water retention than most people. Just so much is genetic. I’ve weighed 165 or even 145 before and didnt really look even ripped at all. Never seen my abs even playing sports as a kid. No veins really. I can just focus on getting stronger but wouldn’t mind looking better along the way. But whenever I cut it seems to just slow down that whole process. Always torn between the two goals. I was hoping roids will keep more muscle and strength on a cut than in the past.

I just get some kind of test flu or something because I work insane hours and early shifts and I go to the gym anyway. So I get sick from overdoing it and maybe from increasing the testosterone dose as well. So I’ve been resting trying to kick this cold because last time I tried to get through it, I kept going to the gym and it just got worse and took longer to recover. That is why I’m using this opportunity to reevaluate my plan. While I want to get stronger. I also may want to focus on diet and lose some weight first. I mean if it weren’t for the strength training I don’t know how motivated I would be. Think I should just bulk like a madman and worry about cutting much later? I could get pretty strong and just look the same pretty much and at least I would be bigger and have more to work with.

I was weighing my meat and carbs and everything for a while, had a trainer and it helped but I’m not sure if you guys understand how some people can’t have carbs and ever get ripped. I honestly think that is what it is. I know I could lose more weight first but it will come to a point where I’ll have to be eating mostly meat to see any changes. But I know there’s Tren, Tirzepitide, Clen, metformin, HGH, carnivore, keto, fasting etc. that could help me with getting there. Maybe timing the carbs around my workouts is more the way to go. I remember one time I was doing it, I was taking EC stack and doing cardio and just high rep light weights and just ate mostly protein and I swear I started to see the shrink wrap effect. But it was very short lived and very hard. I was exhausted. Very difficult.

Hey guys I just realized I am a fucking idiot. I’m going to start counting my calories again. I think I listened to some podcast that talked about insulin spikes from eating carbohydrates and it made a lot of sense to me. But at the same time he was talking about eating gummy bears and dextrose powder around his workouts. I was not really keeping track of the numbers so much as just eating the same thing every day and my weight was consistent but when you change from steak to chicken or something it really changes things. I can probably get stronger and burn fat at the same time if I find the sweet spot. This shit is a fucking bitch.

First off, that is a lot of drugs for your level.

You are overthinking the process and making it complicated which is normal we all go through that phase unless you’re genetically gifted or a hyper responder ot exercise or gear.

I would suggest you slow it down and work on your nutrition first, rest and exercise next. I don’t know if you’re doing bloodwork but monitor your heath too. Stop the orals they won’t do you good at this level.

You are expecting too much from roids like it would magically transform you into a monster like what social media portrays them to be. You’re already at the point where you’re getting frustrated and adding milligrams hoping it would illicit the change you want.

I suggest you just concentrate on eating better, train yourself to eat the boring meat and rice everyday, go to the gym and create your lifting habit. Take your pics and measurements for yourself and compare it 100 days later, not next week or next month; give it time.

Most of the progress you will make will be from being consistent and locked in, doing the same things over and over again. Good luck!

1) you’re worried about losing muscle on a cut so you plan to not lift weights?!?!!

2) you’re new to steroids and thought you should do a gram of testosterone?!?!!

3) you’re on a cut and wasn’t counting calories?

4) put down the needle and step away from the gear

5) learn to eat and train correctly and during that time learn (don’t use) steroids for a future date.

I’ve already given it enough time. You guys a say I don’t know what I’m doing. But that’s not it. It’s just hard to do. Like when I did everything right and was eating 1800 calories a day my trainer telling me I just have to burn it off. Like working 12 hour shifts and lifting heavy doing cardio 4 times a week isn’t enough to burn it off. Most of you guys don’t realize you have had it easy and that is why none of you can help me. Ask me anything about nutrition there isn’t anything I don’t know. Or training. Suck my dick.

The reason I raised the test is that I seem to not be able to tolerate orals. I probably will be hitting up some primo or tren soon. But I might take a cruise for a bit. It’s been about 3 months. But I started at 500 so its not like ive been on a gram for 3 months. I may just wanna blast the test if it agrees with me this well. 2.5 grams is probably good.
 
I got some superdrol. But It’ll probably make me vomit. Honestly everything in my life has been like polar opposite of everyone else so superdrol will probably not cause any sides for me. Anavar was the most toxic so far for me. Anadrol was the better one but I stopped and magically my flu went away so it sucked too. I think maybe Dbol is the answer.
 
Good or bad genetics, eating less calories results in weight loss. Lifting weights and consuming enough protein helps to prevent muscle loss. That applies to naturals too.

Steroids help a lot in gaining and keeping lean body mass (muscle), but they won't do the work for you if you fail at your diet and your training is just fucking around in the gym.

This is what happens when you skip natural gains and jump straight in to using steroids. You hit the wall and fall flat on your ass.

If you can't get good results using Testosterone only then you're fucked. It is obvious you lack knowledge and experience.
