Lab results can I start my 1st cycle

Well, you're technically disagreeing with my nephrologist. lol. I'm just regurgitating what he tells me concerning elevated creatinine and BUN in people who exercise intensely. From what he has told me and what I've read, intense exercise can show false readings concerning kidney function levels. Creatine alone is not a good indicator of actual kidney function in athletes, especially strength athletes. Other tests like cystatin c (CC), Urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio (UACR), BUN, and Creatinine all need to all be looked at together to gauge true kidney function. A 24 hour urine collection also has to be done. Even if those blood tests come back out of whack, a kidney tissue biopsy is usually needed for a good diagnosis to happen. This all had to take place in my case to get my diagnosis anyway.

I'm not trying to be argumentative, btw, but BUN and creatinine will show up elevated a lot of the time in strength athletes. I totally do feel like he needs to get it looked at, though. I just don't want to sound alarmist. That is counter productive. Know what I mean?
UACR Test came back Cys C test probably Friday

I'm probably going to be reiterating a lot of what other people have been saying, but I would definitely look at losing some weight and adding in a statin along with a few supplements.

There's some information I'd like from you as well, if you're willing to provide it: What does your current training look like? What is your current diet, macros, calories, etc? How is your sleep? Are you currently taking any supplements?

@jay510

Looking at your bloodwork, I would advise asking your doctor for a statin and they would probably have no issue prescribing it. It'll be cheaper than ordering online. I'm personally a fan of Rosuvastatin (Crestor), looking at your bloodwork, 5mg p/d would likely suffice, although only bloodwork will determine proper dosage to titrate either up or down. Just mention your family has a history of high cholesterol, you'd like to be proactive about it, and your father takes Crestor with good results/no side effects.

I would highly suggest dialing in your macros and calories to be more specific along with fixing your sleep, and realistically having a better training regiment.

After this, I believe within a month or so you'd be good to go with doing a beginners cycle. I also believe, with proper guidance, you'd end up with better health markers and better body composition.

I'm from the east bay also.

Could find a internet coach or 1 on online in your area , I prefer to learn on my own. I dont feel like I really need it with a awsome forum like this, and you tube, plus not to mention 2 good training partners ive had in the past, a wealth of information between those 2. The search bar here is a awsome tool too.

if your in a new state the gym is a good place to meet people. I'm antisocial and prefer to train alone and I've even meet random ass people at the gym and worked out with em.

You hsCRP is high. And you missed a very important set of biomarkers; iron panel (TSAT, FERRITIN, serum iron).

My new Test results week 7 what do low Bun and BUN/Creatinine RatioView attachment 270319View attachment 270318

Likely to be due to increased anabolism and a subsequent drop in protein breakdown, ie. catabolism, and an increase in nitrogen use; both due to high testosterone, but it's quite low, ... Do you have pre-cycle levels?

Your cortisol is also low, might be potentially a correlation with liver function and low bun, or it might be decreased steroidogenesis due to low ACTH. What were your pre-cycle levels? Are you taking hcg? What are you on atm?

Luckily, your crp dropped. Goes to show how autoinflammatory aas are. Next time also measure TSAT and serum iron and keep an eye on ferritin.

Are you hyperventilating?

Also, you are probably a bit allergic to the carrier oil, seeing how your eosinophils are a tad high.

The higher bf you have the more estrogen and issues you will carry that’s why you should keep the drugs nice and low till you cut to a decent sized weight. Starting gear when lean is the best thing. If you really have cash burning a hole in your pocket someone like @Mac11wildcat can probably coach you and turn you around fairly quick.
