Got a big ol bag uh quinoa, or keenwaaaahhhhh as I say, so starting soon I'll start eating that.
Also got some RTD protein drinks. 160 cals, 30 grams of protein.
My neighbor just gave me this shit. pretty rad. now if I just worked out.......
 
Been slamming my hamstring lately. not much actual lifting aside from deadlifts, but been doing a lot of body weight hamstring curls off the lat Pulldown seat. pretty killer.
I'm starting Layne Norton's program tonight. starting with squat, bench, and deads.

I'm just starting his program today. it's the one on bodybuilding. it's got a lot of frequency, but I'm hoping it'll tire me out.

This last month I've been ducking around, working out as much as I can, but been busy with life. especially the school sign up.
Will probably take December off from gyms, buy some kettle bells and workout at home. pick back up in January when I start going to school.
 
Hoolllyyyyy shit turds, finally went to the gym. Felt great. Strength and endurance is shot, but I'm going to work on that. Upper body today.

Bench 4x6 @225 (4 second eccentric, 1 second pause at bottom) superset with 4x10 Face pulls @80
Pull-ups 4x12 superset with
Seated DB Lateral Raise 4x10 @30
Quad set:
Incline Bench 135 3x12
Pull down 180 3x12
Dips 3x12
DB Row 3x12 @60

Did some rock climbing cardio treadmill.

That rock climbing thing looks fuckin rad, must be a sweet gym.

We had to bitch and moan for months just to get a second power rack lol

Well it's on a chair force base nearby me. Most military bases get a few high speed pieces of equipment and they sit stationary, gathering dust. All the while these beached whales are sitting on the 2nd year of their profile (medical waivers for exercise), walking the track with their double knee braces.

I know why they're knees are fucked.... because they weigh 300 lbs from the waist up, and their legs don't do anything but take up space on the top of their fancy desks.

They always talked about down sizing the army..... they could have given me a clipboard and I would have done that job in an afternoon standing outside the dining facilities and sick call (clinics).
 
The best forms of cardio I've found for myself are either sprints at the beginning of my workout, or Tabata 20 seconds work, 10 seconds rest at the end of my workouts.

Yeah, i need to get back in the habit of it somehow. I quit in August for the meet and during the breakup and just never got back into doing it. I was consistent before that.

Yeah I stopped when the kiddo came. But I've been running around a lot with the dogs lately.
I just went to court last week because this lady said my dog bit her at the neighborhood dog park when my dog was nowhere near her. So after the judge said I wasn't guilty I've been taking my baby girl EVERYWHERE in the neighborhood hoping to terrorize the lady and her boy toy.
Last year when I first rescued her I would think she would have bitten someone, but I've got her trained to the point where she stays put where I tell her to, even when her neighborhood friends are playing. She will lift her front paws up and down and her tail waged a million miles an hour, but she won't move.

I hate having neighbors, I can't wait to get another place in the country. When I do that I'll be able to start riding my bike again regularly. It's too cold this time of year here anyway. I'm just gonna have to suck it up and hit a few minutes post workout or just get laid more or something, I don't know. I don't like going without cardio though.
