Love handles that are not going away, maybe need more muscle?

Happy Holidays everyone! :)

So, I have been lifting for 6 months now and I am wondering if I should just keep on bulking with the 300-500ish surplus method? Current status is 75kgs at 175cm.

For me, my main problem is that I am not noticing any reduction in my love handles, but I am noticing my arms are getting bigger and my lifts are going up. However, my thighs are also "chubby" but that is not visible in the pictures.

Diet wise; I eat 80-85% clean aiming for 200-250g protein. Mainly milk, eggs, potatoes, chicken/tuna, 2 whey scoops, milk, whole grain toast etc.. I fill my left calories with honey, chocolate chips and some oreos into my shake.

Training wise; I go to the gym 6 weeks. Sometimes skip a day due to school. I am currently doing DB Bench press 75lbs x 12, 70lbs bicep curl and 180lbs leg press each side. 50 push ups, 70lbs-75lbs skull crushers. Not quite, but moderately strong. I won't lie I think I was not pushing myself enough the last few months, now I am trying to write down my previous weights and aim to increase that a bit in the succeeding sessions for progressive overload. I started to notice getting mildly sore after workouts. I don't do cardio regularly perhaps 30 mins of stairmaster weekly on separate occasions.

Supplements: Omega 3, Chromium, Garlic, Taurine, Creatine, Beta-Alanine, Caffeine, Whey, HMB when cutting

Steroids: I take test and deca at 400/400. I have slow nerve conduction velocities -- it is congenital and it weakens muscles strength and causes denervation.

So, I am thinking of either to just keep bulking because I don't have enough muscle? I don't think any significant change will happen to my love handles if I decide to cut, so just keep on bulking?

Thanks :)

if you are too fat and want to lose fat, a calorie deficit is the solution for that.

or keep bulking and get fatter.

You should get rid of those garbage calories anyway. Clean up your diet and see what that does for a few weeks. Sounds like you'd benefit from cardio too.

Why are you running 800mg of gear a week when youve been in the gym for barely 6 months? what the fuck.

These are conflicting. If you want to GAIN you eat a surplus. If you want to REDUCE you eat in a deficit. Pick one

If your goal is to grow, eat in a surplus and stop worrying about your love handles. If your goal is to lose the love handles, eat in a deficit and stop worrying about growing.

4 (if you're "85% clean" I guarantee it's more like 50%)

5: everything you wrote after this is nonsense, your training is 99% lacking

There you go, 6 reasons you shouldn't be using steroids. Knock that shit off and learn at least some of the basics.

If your love handles are your main focus right now then the only solution is to diet hard and drop weight until you reach that goal. Using gear and running bulk cycles is counter productive. It's not possible to cut and bulk at the same time.

Depending on how much fat you carry you may be able to grow and cut your calories some, especially as you are new to working out. The body can use the stored calories as fuel for daily activities as opposed to the surplus you are taking in. I did that when i started and it worked till i got my BF down to a more reasonable/healthy level.

Honestly when I read the thread title , I thought it was a joke. Apparently not. While more muscle mass increases burned calories, doesn't really mean you will shrink around waist. Some of more experienced members can correct me if I'm wrong, but you need to go through stages: bulking and cutting. Each stage results are based on calories you consume and gym routine. But, even more important than that. You need to think longevity. Start with simpler AS stacks at lower dosage, fine tune your workout routine and diet to your specific body type and goals. When u done with cycle, focus on retaining these gains ( news flash - you'll probably loose 50% ). But you'll build on whatever you have retained on next cycle.. and so on.
