So weed in Canada is actually less fun now that it’s legal. Dispensaries are all closed cause it was technically legal so we got one shop a 4 hour drive away from my house.... nobody cares that was smoking before the legalization nothing has changed except now the people who weren’t smoking before are doing it in public places and not being discreet because it’s legal. Saw a couple smoke a joint at a baseball park while I only assume it was one of their kids was playing otherwise that was really good weed cause it wasn’t good baseball to watch.
 
Figured you guys might like this recipe I use to make weed peanut butter for my shakes. I'm trying to cut down on smoking.

The amounts for this really don't matter too much, I typically do small batches. From 1g of wax/shatter to 2-3g flower. I throw in at least 4 serving (tbsp) of peanut butter in for a gram of wax, 2-4 per gram of weed. I don't think there should be a bottleneck in terms of not using enough peanut butter, I have a HUGE tolerance and I can always fit enough weed in 200 calories worth of peanut butter.

The first thing you want to do with your material is "decarb" it. I'm not going to get into all the science of it all but decarb basically activates the weed so you could eat it alone (I still bake into a fat).

A NOTE ON HEAT AND TIMES:
Anecdotal evidence has shown me excessive heat+excessive time will cause the high to be very lethargic. There's times where I actually prefer this but otherwise keep in mind my guide takes you slightly below what other pages might recommend.

1. Preheat your oven to 240f. I used 250-260f for a while and I like 240f better.

2. Place your wax or ground up weed into a pyrex measuring cup. I don't get too obsessed with grinding the weed up. I don't think it makes it any more effective and since my PB goes in the blender anyways I don't take much time.

3. Put in in the oven for 20 minutes at 240f. Wax and Shatter will bubble at around 15min then stop. Some guides recommend 25-30 minutes. Like I said I find the effects of overdoing it not desirable. I used to be paranoid about wasting weed but I don't notice a drop in potency. Maybe bigger batches require more time but if you're doing <10g I wouldn't recommend it. The plant material should look slightly "toasty"

4. Remove the pyrex cup and throw in your peanut butter. Like I said, use whatever amount is convenient for your diet. I wouldn't put more than half a gram in 1tbsp. Mix the peanut butter and weed well, the heat of the pyrex will help smooth out the peanut butter. Be sure to do this or else pockets of weed will form that don't really absorb in the fat.

5. Throw it in the oven for 20-30 minutes. I like to have 45-50 minutes total of time in the oven. I like to think its "perfect" when the top of the peanut butter starts to dry a little bit.

There's some pictures of the stuff I put in plus the end product. All of the weed was $25 a quarter or similarly priced at the dispensary.

After you take it out of the oven the second time, what are some good ways to eat it? Also, could I do this with 1 gram of weed and a few tbs of pb just to try it out?

I just put it in protein shakes. And yeah you can do it with that much. Really I don't usually do it with much more. In highschool we used to put weed and peanut butter in between 2 crackers and bake it, same idea kinda.

Something about the toasted weed and the peanut butter tastes like cereal, specifically peanut butter toast crunch but kinda with a bitter aftertaste. I think if you mix it with dairy it kills the aftertaste and goes well with the cereal-taste.

How long does it take to kick in? I've never had edibles

When I blend it it kicks in in about 30 minutes, what you'd expect. I never have the delayed effect edibles are known for drinking my shake. It definitely builds though, like with pills or something I know I'm feeling the entirety of it by 45 minutes.

How much do you eat? I split .3 grams with a girl and it didn't do much for me. She said she was fucked up but I think I'm gonna need like a gram or so
 
The concentration will vary depending on who made it. Like the sweetness of a brownie - they all can be different. You'd have to try a small amount and see for each batch unless you start making it, obviously.

Edibles are weird, you almost have to reach a certain point with them or else they don't kick in. I eat a 1-1.5 grams but I have a big tolerance, I'd try half-.75. It's going to last like all day.

Lol all day? The girl said it made her paranoid af lol... she said she'd never eat it again and now that I think about it she said she thought she might still be feeling it this morning

I mean the main effects last some hours, but a good dose has very long lasting aftereffects. If I drink my shake around noon I still have a hardcore appetite all night pretty much.

I like edibles but the dosing is weird and buying from a dispensary is expensive as hell plus I don't wanna eat multiple 200-300 calorie brownies.
 
DMT vape cartridge... I'm getting one this weekend. Anyone try this before? Not DMT... but the DMT vape cartridge?
