I got bored of being wired on kratom I only smoke shatter now and oil I make from it ...

THC is the best medication .
I don't drink alcohol I won't touch opiates and other than the occasional DXM powder experience, I stay away from stimulants ..
I never felt better in my life but I am 45 and going through my changes

The THC is at such a high level in my home that I could invite ten friends to live with me for a month and have enough for them all just with the supply I have now haha
I never smoke dry
I have honey and oils with natural terpens everywhere ..
Both my girlfriends smoke dry

I always keep a fresh vape pen with one up north she loves it ..
This one I live with loves blunts

First time grower, Aurora/Indica (Indica/Northern Lights) for pain meds. I had it flowering under 6400 CFs and only had a 6x magnifier but I never saw a hint of amber but full on white tricomes. The books said to flower for 8ish weeks. Since mine never learned to read they never ambered in that time, nor at 11 weeks when they went from drying to dead in 3 days time. Nothing but rain water for the last 4-6 weeks just because... Am I doing it wrong, or are they doing it wrong? Why no amber? All went well otherwise including a full on set of white frosty buds. No pics as I had to rush a save on these and life was in the way at the same time.

They're hanging and drying now. I didn't have the time to do a "fine trim" of the smaller leaves. What effect will this have on flavor or potency?

sounds like you could of ran nutrients a few weeks longer and gotten a better yield. I didn't cut nutrients until I saw some amber. you want the amber trichomes more than you want the white trichomes.

your finished product should be fine.

Little update: I have too many plants once again. Caring for this many plants is at least part time job. So what did I do? I got me a new 5'x5'x7' grow tent and another G8 LED along with 6 DWC Buckets from ModularHydro because I've always wanted to grow via hydroponics and because they won high times award for their invention. I won't switch over to hydro until current flowering plants are completed. They won't be ready by the time I go on a 7 day vacation, but I'll figure something out to keep them watered....maybe a simple drip system, but I really don't want to spend anymore money on soil grow, but I'll do what I have to in order to keep my babies alive.

I've made 2 batches of RSO and getting better at it and 1 LARGE batch of some strong ass brownies.

I got my plants finally going. they are 3 inches tall. I put a fan in there to allow for a more stable trunk. I was wondering what distance should I put the light away from the plants? I have 5 plants.
I am not using any nutrients. What point in time would nutrients be used?

Let your hand be the guide on light placement. If you hold your hand at the top of the plant and can feel the light, but it's not too warm, that's a good starting place. Mine like it where I can just tell there's warmth. Any closer and they get pissed off. You'll hear other points of view so experiment here. And 3" plants need much less light than 12 and above.

Gramps had good rule of thumb. I would start nutrients at week 4, depends on the soil you got, you might of already started nutrients.

I am using LED lights that are working so good. They grow bigger everyday it is amazing.

Sad thing is it shouldn't though. Teens and 20's smoked regularly. No problems didn't faze. Now I smoke very minimal and turn into a confused old man. Lol A weed vet but i'm turning into a rookie again as I get older hahahhaha
