What's a good seed source? I see many on high times magazine....might try one of them.... But femanized seeds are expensive. There was an eBay seller selling seeds from Canada.

I had a good one. I got mine I will get info.

As for my plants I have, They are getting big. I did not train them, because this is a beginner run. I will when I get the hang of it. They have grown for 5 weeks. They are about 1 feet or 2 feet tall. It is really interesting seeing the different strains grow and how differently they develop. My pinaepple kuch is branchy and tall. My Fruit punch is bushey.

How long into your veg, did you switch the lighting? I know you can when ever but what was your time?

I switched my pots at 4 weeks to 3.5 gal.

I vegged for about 8weeks and flowered for about 8-10 weeks if I remember correctly. Get tomatoes cages and put on each plant so and start tying the branches so that it spreads it out. You want light to reach as much of the plant as possible. For my Gorilla Glue, I used a small and large tomatoes cage. I cut the larger cage to fit around the smaller one. This allowed my plant to grow wide and then will reach up towards the light. YOU DONT WANT A CHRISTMAS TREE. You want short and stubby.

Get some twine that's designed for plants. I use a reuseable Velcro twine. I cut to size and reuse.

as for your strains, the taller, the more sativa. The bushier, the more indica.


My first batch was a fluke. I got lucky. 2nd batch, I am fighting gnats, spider mites, nutrition lock out and nitrogen deficiency. I think I am winning this battle.

Will start roids next watering. 3 flowering stage "Juice". All by fox farms. Open Siamese is the first. Cant remember the other two bottles. All three was about $120

Sounds good the person I am with doesn't want to mess with them. But I am open to doing what you said about opening the plant up to light.

I will be using the Fox Farms 3 stage ROIDS along with AN iguana bloom juice.

My new project that I don't have time to do. 2 8" mesh pots with 6" grodan for medium.


Got 2 lids. One for cloning and the other for growing.


Just got to do some drilling after I am satisfied with design/plan.

I grew Aurora indica my last grow. It tested at 19% thc. I have had higher thc content, but this was the stoniest weed I ever grew. Pretty intense stone for 3-4 hrs. I prefer the indicas over sativa.

What is SCROG'ing?
Can Soil be used over again after taking out the plant? Or is new soil need?

Same as before Cherry Pie and True OG flowering. Mother plant Gorilla Glue and strains already mentioned vegging.

Once I built my aeroponics / DWC system, I'll start cloning. Then take the two best clones and swap lids with 2 8" mesh pots and insert clone into grodan.

Not sure if you can reuse soil or not. I guess if your plants thrived then the soil must be good enough to reuse.

My plants are skyrocketing. Looking beautiful. Its 2 feet now, abuot 6 inches from the light. The other is 1.5 feet. I am going to have to higher the light soon.

Nice. Consider putting a tomatoe cage on each plant so you can spread out the branches to allow more light in the center and so you can support the heavy branches once they start budding

@Nutpuncher. There is a place in Chico Ca. $50 to test for thc and other cannabinoids. I always tested it before taking any to dispensaries. Good info to know.

Farmers rotate their crops every 2 years due to nutrient depletion. If you're feeding them, I can't say "not" to reuse the soil, but it really isn't a big deal to toss it and start over fresh. It's just the best thing to do.

Playing around, I mean conducting R&D on cloning using DWC.

3/16" tube connected to Air pump. I haven't added a device to increase oxygen in water yet. So I just made small cuts at end of tube. Also have a small fan blowing at container to keep water temp low. Ideall temp is between 65-68 degrees.


If you look closely you can see bubbles. Clone is in a circular Grodan. Light is 1 T5 (I think).


CO2 bag. Supposed to last up to 6 months. It's supposed to be above the plants because CO2 is heavier than air. I left on a box in opposite corner of air vent that's sucking air from another tent. So hopefully both tents will get some.

you need your CO2 up over 500 parts per million, preferably above 1000 parts per million, but not over 1600 parts per million. I'm not sure how that bag is getting CO2 levels higher. vinegar and dry ice work well if you don't have a burner.

I am not advanced enough to get devices that measures PPM. The only thing I measure is nutrients, flowering "roids" and PH. Lately I've been measuring how much I water and writing down the date and what u performed. I need to step up my growing "professionalism" if I want to yield at least every other months which is posible. I got slightly over 8oz on first harvest of 4 plants. This time I have the legal amount or maybe 1/2 dozen or more...I am not good at math lol.

Scrog tent looks fucking marvelous. Tent is 2.5'x1.5'x3'. 3 flowering (week 2) plants growing in a 18 gallon storage container and with the SCROG Net.
