Myth your mass spec doesn't show the strength in the oils? Only purity?

I think only a gas chromatography show strength, was just wondering. I appreciate everything you are doing for the community as im sure everyone else does too.

My only problem with mass spec is it costs $75-100 for each substance and every ugl gets more powders all the time there is no way to control purity from China so honestly I would say its a waste of money and many guys complain the gear has to be cheaper the margins are already getting thinner due to broke college kids setting up ugls and selling gear for beer money.. Not sure I see the usefulness in mass spec. At least labmax $200 you can tests tons of stuff.

If you cannot find the potency with mass spec it is just waste of time and money. So paying $100 to find out that there is something does not make any sense.

So finding out that your compound is only 48% pure means nothing to you...That means if you pay for 250mg of test with only 48% purity, your getting F!!!ed, but by all means, carry on...

Also, these tests are not for the average user, they are done by pro's and producers...

Purity is the determining factor of potency
Given that most brewing formulas are assuming near 100% pure then a 48% pure sample would produce a brew that is less than half as strong.
Not to mention that there is an equal amount of who know what in the mix

or am I wrong?

You are correct, assuming the source uses the amount that is listed on the label. If they are labeling it 100mg/ml but it's really only 50mg, that 48% is now nearly half of that. You could potentially have 25mgs or so.

well if test shows that your 100 mg contains 48 grams of pure steroid then it is worth something

Mercury I understand where your coming from, the idea being you could adjust the dose and such but, the problem is the other 52% could be estrogen or talc powder or something worse

HTP was 2 raws
Quality Raws was a finished Tren A

It shows purity, "100mg is sufficient", meaning there are 100mg/ml within about 5mg + or -

If it was supposed to be 300mg and only 100 was found, the summary would state, "300mg is overstated by 2 fold"...

These format of test results look familiar. Are you having them done by A on that other forum?

Are the PDF attachments / uploads working ok now?

No, I have been having problems with many features other than this as well (e.g. conversations). I get a relatively useless error when attempting to view the attachment.

Ample i was getting the same error as well. It seems we need cliff notes of the tests if we can't read the pdf files. I was wondering how HTP test C tested out. We can labmax until we get blue in the face, but the result is binary.
