If everyones amicable I would say we should change the payout.
2nd place gets $50 (double buy in)
3rd gets $25 (played for free)
1st gets rest (depending on # of teams)
Only reason I say this is it might get people to keep playing knowing thwy can at least break even and will discourage people not setting line-ups. Talk it over...

I'd personally rather have top 2-3 get cash. Also, just throwing it out there, one of my leagues has a weekly winner for the overall high score of every regular season week, so the first twelve or so weeks.
The 5-10 for the weekly high score could be taken out of the $25 buy in or we could bump it to say $30 and any extra can be distributed to the top three.
We don't have to do this, just another suggestion to keep the league competitive all around

Is this an online league with the weekly winners? We'd definitely need to raise the entry fee if we did something like that. It's a good idea though. I'll check if Yahoo has it.
Im in for entry fee! Im already in a $150 and $250 league so prefer this not too high.
If im in, thats how I like my payout too. Highest point total, highest weekly, etc weighs it down. *but whatever league wants, dont wanna drop in n start dictating terms lol.
