Meso Movie Reviews

I just watched 11/22/63 on Hulu. It's going to be an eight part mini series based on the book by Stephen King. I read the book a couple years ago and really liked it and it just happened to be on Hulu when we turned it on. First episode was good, seemed fairly true to the book, James Franco in the lead role.

Ill have to check that one out. I just read the book last year.

Im a big Stephen King fan though. Still hoping they make movies for the Dark Tower series

That's my all-time favorite series, I've read it beginning to end three times. The first time the ending pissed me off, but after the second time and thinking about it I think it's pretty perfect.

Anyway, I really want it to become a movie, but to do it justice it's going to need to be on the level of The Lord of the Rings production-wise, millions of dollars spent and a movie per book. They botch his books in making them movies a lot for some reason, they really need to get this one right.

I think we're kindred spirits. I just finished reading it for the 3rd time late last year.
I know theyve talked about doing the movie a few times but something always comes up. They had a decent plan a few years ago to do a TV series between movies to fill in the blanks with the smaller adventures.

Edit: Just googled and read they cast Idris Elba as Roland and Matthew McConaughey as the man in black?

I always pictured Roland as a young Clint Eastwood and Halle Berry as Susan

I think we are, first powerlifting, now great books and movies. Yeah, I've been following the possible movie production for awhile and it never ends up happening. They say this time it is. I've heard Ron Howard is going to be directing, too. I didn't see that part in that article, but I've seen it somewhere. As much as I've read it the characters are really defined in my mind and it's going to be hard for them to fill those roles and make them true to the book. If done right it'll be epic though.

Scarlett Johansson is an alien who picks up random men in Scotland. I guess she really did drive around in a van picking up these dudes and they thought they were gonna have sex with her....for real. Lol The movie is a fucking trip....check it out sometime.

Another good one I watched again was:

Few yrs old. Excellent flick.

Saw Deadpool today. Shit was good. If I could grow an extra thumb Id give it 3 thumbs up. Also Gina Carano got buff for the movie, and we know how I feel about buff chicks.

Deadpool was awesome! I liked Colossus. He was bad ass. My wife went with me but she didn't care for it, go figure [emoji4]. Definitely going to watch it again when it comes out to rent. [emoji106]

Colossus had always been my favorite X-man. I wish they wouldve shown him transform though.

I downloaded Ronaldo to watch on the treadmill. Just assumed (you know what happens when you assume) it would be in English....nope Spanish, I think.

I'm a huge horror movie guy.
Love horror movies.
Just watched "Krampus" last night.
It was OK.... A Christmas Horror Story was a much much better movie. Plus it was William Shatner in it.
Or should I say... William Shafter ;) ;)

So I finally watched this movie the other day.

Guess what???....Lance Armstrong is a prick!! Big surprise huh?? The movie was meh, not really worth watching tbh. I wanted to see it bc of the PED's. Lol They also said in the movie that Armstrong bought the Tour de France their most expensive pc of testing equipment. Lol No wonder he never tested +. :p
