Meso Movie Reviews

Watched " The Martian". I was very pleased with the movie. I read the book a few years ago and it is among my top 5 favorite books. The movie was great and probably will win movie of the year but like all movies that are based on a book, the book is better.

A couple of my go-to movies are Braveheart, Last of the Mohicans, Troy, Gladiator, Saving Private Ryan, Apocalypto, Robin Hood, 300, LOTR, Kingdom of Heaven, Pan's Labyrinth, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Last Samurai, Life, Kill Bill, Inglorious Bastards, and Django, all worth checking out in my opinion.
I must have seen Braveheart 10 times

If you've never seen this movie, its pretty good. I like it anyways.

Just watched Odd Thomas and The Guest. I've read a few of the Odd Thomas books, so I thought I'd finally watch the movie. It was decent, it's been a few years since I read the book, but it was fairly true to the book from what I remember.

The Guest is worth watching for sure. Thriller/action movie about a guy that shows up at a family's house that supposedly served in the army with their dead son. Turns out he's like a super soldier, craziness and mayhem ensues.

Knock Knock with Keanu Reeves is absolutely horrible, but I watched it all. Neo gets his ass kicked by two teenage girls bc he has a bad shoulder. Lol They basically steal his million dollar house and fuck up his life....its fucking stupid.

Just watched this the other day, I probably watch it atleast once a year because it's a fuckin classic. If you have somehow managed to go your whole life without seeing it....well, I just pity you. Oldie but a motherfucker goldie! I still remember seeing it when I was like 7 and having nightmares for the rest of my life lol. the_shining_pos.da5d2133447.original.jpg

This is a more recent one (on netflix) and I must say it was pretty damn good. I consider myself to be somewhat of a connoisseur of horror movies, I enjoy being scared shitless, but finding decent horror flicks in this day and age can be hard. Some i can only describe as being taxing to watch. This one I was pretty impressed with. Eerie, suspenseful, and just downright disturbing. Probably the best horror flick I've seen since the first insidious film came out. Not over the top gory or filled with unnecessary jump scares to make up for lack of real terror, the Babadook is definitely one you wanna check out if you're into scary shit.The-Babadook-Poster.jpg

You should watch Room 237, Kubrick was a master at hiding messages in his movies.

Well that was definitely a damn good, and very intriguing, documentary! Real insightful, definitely pointed out a few things that went over my head a little bit before but certainly make sense now haha. Thanks again for the good recommendation, @Seven Dog

Gonna take my ass to bed now and mull that over a bit more in the A.M

watched this the past few days. Just goes to show you how corrupt the entire justice system is. Absolutely outrageous. Really need to make sure you watch the last episode. Puts some of the incriminating evidence in crazy ass perspective.
