Meso Movie Reviews

Knock Knock with Keanu Reeves is absolutely horrible, but I watched it all. Neo gets his ass kicked by two teenage girls bc he has a bad shoulder. Lol They basically steal his million dollar house and fuck up his life....its fucking stupid.
That movie was fuckin terrible

I watched a documentary called American Meth the other night. It was very boring. Narrated by Val Kilmer. I guess I was expecting guys in the woods talking about shadow people and it was not that at all. Just a brief history of the drug, interviews with law enforcement and then a long segment where they followed this couple that didn't even seem that bad on meth as much as they were just terrible parents. They were either asleep or fighting all the time and the kids just skipped school and did whatever.

Also watched a movie over the weekend called The Factory. Crime thriller isn't really my genre, but I figured my girl would like it and I was trying to pick something she wouldn't hate. It was actually alright. Some crazy dude kidnaps prostitutes and tries to get them pregnant to start his own weird family.

I havent gone thru the entire topic yet, so dont know if anybody has posted anything about Kung Fury but it is the funniest fucking think Ive seen in years. I watched it two nights in a row. Its on Netflix but here is the youtube link.

Arnold has a new movie out (sort of new) called "Maggie". it was in the horror section but id say its more of a drama in a horror movie setting.
theres some mixed reviews but critics are saying its one of Arnolds best performances. abigail breslin plays Arnolds daughter and she is very good as well.
its kind of hard to put your finger on what this movie is. I was almost disappointed with the ending but when I thought about it, I liked it more.

We just watched Rage last night. One of Nick Cage's best. It's a bit hard to follow in a couple of places but still a good action/killer movie.

I've never seen that, but I like those kinds of endings in books, series and movies. First you're pissed/disappointed/whatever and after it sinks in you start thinking it was actually brilliant after all. Sign of good writing in my opinion.

I thought I could edit my above post. Anyway, Bone Tomahawk was pretty differnt than anything Ive ever really seen, being both a western and horror and doing them both pretty well. But the story moves pretty slow and the action parts, while really well done and pretty fucking brutal, are few and far between. Id give it a solid 7.5 just for the originality of it and for the acting.

Scientology freaks me out!! I've watched a few doc's about it. L. Ron Hubbard was a very strange dude. The guy was a pathological liar, woman abuser, and ate amphetamines like M&M's.

This HBO Doc is very interesting:

That was a really good movie, I've recommended that to many friends. Maybe a little out dated now but had a really great message.
Ya it has some age to it huh lol? That's how it was done back in the day!!!

Bone Tomahawk was pretty damn good and different from what i was expecting. Also saw 13 hours at the theatre. Both exciting and a little depressing at the same time. Guys outnumbered, hung out to dry by the suits up top, yet still manage to lay the wood to some people. Heroic story.
