Meso UFC & MMA

Overall a very entertaining card. That stoppage was unfortunate but that was a nasty looking cut. No doubt he would've and could've kept going but they were looking out for him. Rematch is gonna be good.

Dec 14 card is stacked

I have always liked Nate. But he better come up with a better game plan for the rematch. He was almost out in the 1st round. Maybe he had something left in him for the 4-5th rounds but he was definitely losing on points. His strategy of walking thru everything and being tough as hell is why he has 11-12 losses. And damn. Dude can bleed. So much scar tissue.

By the way. That Kevin Lee knockout!

He starched that guy!

Who would have thought a short-range shoulder strike would be that effective? Obviously not an even match up but it was a most impressive win. Take away a mans potato supply and anything is possible

Hahaha! One of my buddies I was watching the fights with last night tried to claim Cowboy took a dive. The fuck he did...he just got caught quick and wasn't able to recover.

Herb Dean gave Cowboy more than enough time to try and clear the cobwebs. I would have liked to see it go a bit longer but Connor made a statement with that ass whipping.

And it now seems that Dana White is focused on Khabib vs Connor 2. Hopefully, part 2 will be better than the first go round for Mr. McGregor.

I'd much prefer to see him in with masvidal next. I doubt the khabib rematch would go much different then the 1st
Khabib is a beast. No question. But so was Jose Aldo for a long time. It could definitely be a repeat but Connor could shock the world, too. I'll be watching any and all of them, regardless.

Oleinik’s armbar in the heavyweight division was impressive. He set it up from the spiderweb position, but rolled forward instead of backwards. Totally badass, especially at that weight.

I honestly thought Cerrone would give McGregor a tough fight since he’s got ring rust. Guess not
Cerrone is now 4-7 in his last 11 fights. He was given that payday for being a good company man and has never delivered in big fights. I think Khabib stylistically is a bad matchup for McGregor. And part of me feels Gaethje should be next in line assuming Khabib gets past Ferguson. Then those three can fight to see who gets the first rematch.

The other part of me realizes this is sports entertainment for profit. So it will be Khabib vs. McGregor or McGregor vs. Masvidal. As much as I like Nate I'm not interested in seeing him bleed for another 5 rounds!

Dana is not going to let Connor fight Khabib for a while. Thing is, if Connor loses again soon, far less interest in Connor, and therefore far less PPV buys. Dana will build Connor back up with easy-ish fights, take more PPV cash in the meantime, then highly anticipated Khabib rematch brings huge payoff. Everybody wins.
