Mike Wyck Criminally Charged

@bigMoJo
Mojo babe, was Mike justified in trying to deck natty boy with short man poseur syndrome?
:)
I don't know either of these guys, so I am inclined to say they are equal "Jack-offs," with all due respect. One guy who's filming in the gym (Jack #1), the other for getting violent for that (Jack #2).

Provoking and/or attacking inside a gym IS a pussy move.

I cannot condone violence, I can only condone intellegence. If it were me, the intellegent move would have been to lie-in-wait outside, then attack. Of course, first checking for any cameras. (@bjjgear what do you think?)

This is one of those instances where you need to work smarter not harder.

Look on TMZ. Jeff had made a reply video to the Science based stuff using Mike's head pic in the video. He was pissed about that then throated him later. Haha.

Since everyone thinks Mike is a troglodyte, he did not name any names, in the video he made.
He just expressed his opinion.
The plaintiff, however, has a chip on his shoulder and delusions of grandeur.
If he thought it was aimed at him, he could have responded without mentioning Mike, so in the same way.
But no, the main aim is to generate views. And he knows how to do it.

noun

  1. A member of a fabulous or prehistoric race of people that lived in caves, dens, or holes.
  2. A person considered to be reclusive, reactionary, out of date, or brutish.
  3. A nonhuman ape. Not in scientific use.

U saying I used the wrong word?
Tears emoji....

Come to think of it, the whole thing could just be a publicity stunt.
They can both benefit from this. Good publicity and bad publicity all equals more publicity.
We'll know if it is, if the plaintiff ends up dropping charges.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm picking up an attitude among some in this thread that maybe he deserved it. I would think that a group of grown ass men with more muscle than they oughta have and on drugs known to increase aggression and reduce impulsivity would develop some pretty strong principles with regard to when it's okay to use violence.

Maybe Jeff Nippard is a twat, but there's nothing in any of the information out there that even remotely suggests that throat chopping him would have been justified.

All kidding aside... you are 100% right.

He's very obviously one of those guys that desperately needs to present a tough guy image to the world, it would be embarrassing if he was in his twenties but he looks old enough to be my dad.

My guess is he would never do that to anyone remotely similar in size to him.

Mike made a video asking why science-based bodybuilders were so mediocre.

Jeff made a response listing his science-based bodybuilding accomplishments which were more than Mike has ever achieved in his entire life.

Mike thought he was being laughed at and guys like that don't like thinking they're being laughed at. Especially on the world stage of social media.

Ergo, lizard brain roid rage throat slam.

Do you know what may happen to him next?
He is in Canada, idk how the law differs from the States, for something like this.
I am in Canada and have some experience.

If no criminal record next to nothing. With a good lawyer and the actual help of the video the charges are likely to be dropped.

If no criminal record and he takes duty council or if he has a minor record then it's a fine.

There is a saying in Canada "the first one is free" meaning the first time something happens with the law with something small like a BS assault like this it's kid gloves. The very last thing we want to do is put someone in prison. Very last. (Prison meaning federal time which is 2yrs or more sentence) It's not only expensive it turns half bad people pretty bad quite often and we know that, don't want to do that. Suspended sentences are frequent for fairly serious offences on the first conviction (say aggravated assault using only fists but the guy really, really pounded the other guy and he got hurt). You really gotta try to go to prison on the first offence here.

Second and subsequent convictions for serious crimes all the rules go out the window and it's a case by case basis.......

Here is a great example...... Take a look into the story of Clinton Suzack. I was in his presence 2wks on London St in Sault Ste Marie Ontario before he killed the cop. He was on his way to parole before he died of natural causes in prison.

I don't think the guy needs to go to prison, but I do think he needs to face the legal and reputational consequences of assaulting someone, which seems to be what's happening. Most of all, I don't want to entertain the discussion that maybe smol boy deserved it.

He will face the legal system and it is similar to what I described. No time not one second in jail for this guy. Nothing since they arrested and charged him already. In Canada the cops will charge you and give you a slip with a date and time to come back for mug shots and finger prints. It's usually about a month after the charge. It's called a promise to appear and includes the first court date. Without any background of this guy's criminal record any other discussion I cannot continue.

Another very accurate example is..... A professional, say a mechanical engineer, never been in trouble with the law gets arrested for a pound of high grade weed in his possession (this is before Canada legalized weed) his penalty is a $2000 fine +10% added for a "victim's fund". No probation, no nothing else. This is considered a harsh penalty. Of course the initial charge was possession with intent to distribute however the lawyer had that down to simple possession in no time.
