Bob Uecker was GREAT in that movie too!

Actually, and if we have any Brewers fans here they can confirm, Bob Uecker was not only great in that movie, but he is great IRL as well.

I use to attend a lot of Brewers games in Milwaukee and that was when Uke did the games on radio by himself. He was awesome to listen to, and me and my buddies got to talk to him a few times at the stadium, and he was such a nice, nice, funny guy! He would crack on us for wearing Cubs gear, but in a cool, respectful way, and was so funny and just cool.

I have always thought that he was underrated as an announcer.
 
Kluber is Gonna be tough, but Hendricks is really good as well. As a Cub fan, I am hoping Kluber is worn out after pitching so many games on short rest this post season. But he was great last time out (game 4).

I am actually extremely impressed by the Indian's making it this far and possibly winning it all with all of the guys they are missing! How many teams could be missing their #2 and #3 starters and be here??? I don't mind admitting that I don't think the Cubs could. Take away Hendricks and Arrietta and they'd be done a while ago!!!

The Indian's success given the injuries is amazing!
 
As a non fan of either team, this is a great series (even though games have been lopsided). Part of me wants the Cubs to win with their drought (plus I have a good female friend thats a life long Cubs fan), but I would also like to see Cleveland get another ring after the Cavs...its just a good story.

Hopefully Game 7 is actually close and interesting.

You aint kidding, max stress for a fan, every damn pitch is huge. Don't have a favorite, wouldn't mind seeing either team win.
Cubs hitters may figure out Kluber, Byant's home run last night was off of a curve. Looked like he was sitting on it.

Congrats to....World Series winners Chi Cubs!! Dominate team in the league from the get-go, and built to last with lots of young studs.

Unbelievable, man, unbelievable.

Theo Epstein deserves his own wing in the Hall of Fame. First he GM's the Red Sox to the World Series Championship after about 86 years of not doing so, and now he wins the World Series leading the Cubs after a 108 year drought! Crazy!!!
 
Happy your Cubs pulled through. Cuz when Cleveland scored those 3 runs in the 8th. My first thought was "the fix is on" !!!! :oops: lol

Has the city gone to sleep yet bickel? If I was a resident of Chicago & Cubs fans I would just be getting my second wind right now. lol
