Motorcycles and rain

That shit hurts. Stuck in the rain last night. Lucky it wasnt raining hard. 10 miles of fucking pain. My son was on back so I couldnt lean down under the windshield. Just had to take the little darts sticking in the skin. The lips hurt the worst. Got home b4 the tornado sirens went off. That shit sucks. I didnt even know it was coming. It was sunny the last time I was outside. Than at 330 I leave to get my son and boom it was black out.

Rain is the only time i wish i had a helmet on. same with cold i guess

ah...memories. i remember riding home in the rain. however, it was about 40 degrees out there and a cold rain. it was a sunny 65 when i left my house so i didnt take any extra clothing. luckily whatever i did have on prevented any "darts" from sticking me. but i gotta tell you, 40 freeking degrees at 50 MPH for 1 hour sucks pretty bad too...helmet or no helmet. i had to defrost in a hot tub of water for about a good hour, lol.

maybe you should have some rain gear/helmet with you just incase. atleast for the boy.

have a nice day

thats a good idea. He hid well behind me though. My DALLAS COWBOY JACKET kept him good. His legs got stung by the rain though. He was wearing shorts. We gave each other a big high 5 when we made.
BL, I could drive as fast as I wanted b/c the pigs wont get out of the car when it is raining :D no helmet law here so that isnt a concern.
I made it across town and the rain was stinging my eyes bad so i pulled over to get my sunglasses out of my sons backpack and a guy pulled over and offered to let me drive his car home and keep my bike in the garage. He said his wife was gone and he had a pickup so I could take his car home. I was pretty impressed by that. I have talked to the guy a couple of times before so he wasnt a stranger but still that was pretty cool

you might as well use that dallas cowboy jacket as toilet paper instead... just use it for its intended purpose!

you're my hero dude, lol

8 hours? that aint shit. When my boy was 2( he is 7 now so that was 5 years ago) I had my bike shipped to canada and drove for 52 hours nonstop. didnt even have to get gas. It was so fucking cold and windy that i just coasted. Rained about 14 feet and the icicles were crazy. Still have a whole in my head from one that fell out of the sky. Where was I? Oh yeah, the ice patches were bad too. It was a horrendous trip. took until monday to chill off.
