My 10 week Mass cycle Journal. 1 November-January 2011

week 8-day 2-Arms- Today was good, had the time to sleep well in the afternoon so that's better. I kept the same lifts but felt more comfortable while lifting and form was better. I am eating more due to more hunger and also to finish off these last 3 weeks in style.
 
week 8-day 3-Shoulders- Today was very good. Had the time to rest and I got a personal record on the military press. I am much more hungry but I am eating more. Adding weight faster than usual of course.
 
week 8-day 4-Chest- Today was one of the best days of my cycle. It was my second day of chest this week and considering that I suffer a bit more when going high rep I did not suffer at all and I squeezed very close the weight which I lift on heavy days.
It must be the increase on food that is helping me that much. My body showed me that It needed more calories and It responded well when I did eat more.
 
Why are you thinking of using HCG for PCT? Hcg is suppressive itself, not what you need post cycle. During is a different story.
 
week 8-day 5-Back-Today was good. focused on raw lifts and compounds. Got a personal record of the deadlift. Some back pumps at the very last set of the workout.
 
week 8-day 6-Rest- Work schedule changed so I have the time to rest my body for 2 days since tomorrow is legs.

week 8-day 7-Legs- Today was very good. Never suffer on leg days. This week was quite positive especially considering the busy schedule I had. Weight is 207lbs, saw a little more bloat to the increase in food this week but energy was better too. I am starting to feel that the sides are decreasing, when it comes to high libido and anger. I will be able to comment better next week, but I feel that the best of this cycle is up until week 8 (especially weeks 4-8). I maybe wrong though.
 
I am going to use hcg with Nolva. hcg starting from the last week of the cycle is fine.

DO a bit more research on that. PCT is recovery, HCG stimulates testosterone production via increasing Lutenizing Hormone, which equates with HCG being suppressive. The nolva sounds good, I would rethink HCG, its grossly overused in recovery - BUT , Its a must while ON.

I am only going to take 2 shots of HCG due to the low dosage my cycle was. I will recover quite fine.
 
Week 9-Day 1-Chest- Today was very good. Went for the same weight of last week but worked in the 8-8-5-5 scheme. So the last set of 5 which I did last week, this week I did 2 of the same set. And I felt comfortable and on occasions I went for another rep.
As for sides libido and anger are still milder and as soon as I injected 1st thing in the morning I've had a mild headache.
 
Week 9-Day 2-Shoulders- Today was very good. My body seems to respond very well in terms of shoulder growth despite the fact that the workouts are hell hehe. Got a personal best on the military press and worked again with the 8-8-5-5 scheme. Squeezed 6 reps on the last set.
 
Week 9-Day 3-Back- Today was very good. Sides are decreasing drastically. Got a personal record on the one handed dumbbell rows. Focused on width today rather than thickness. Last week focused on heavy compounds.
 
Week 9-Day 4-Arms- Today was ok. got a PR on closed bench press. but tend to suffer to increase instantly on biceps. I always need those 2 weeks to make a significat increase. On the other hand, i Focused on isolation exercises today regarding biceps so I obviously had to go a bit low on weight but full stretch and contraction. I am very sore in my back from yesterday's width exercises.
 
Week 9-Day 5-Legs-Today was good. I focused on compounds more than machines. The sides are now nearly all gone. Strength is still going up though. I believe that weeks 4-8 is the sweet spot for this cycle.
 
Week 9-Day 6-Chest- Today was my second day of chest. focused on slow, good full contraction. Worked with dumbbells only. It was good to rest my upper body yesterday, it helped. Tomorrow is rest day so with this workout I concluded my 9th week and my final week is next week in which Im going to work 8-8-8-8/dropset scheme.
 
Week 9-Day 7-Rest-Today is my rest day before my last week of the cycle I am standing at 207.4lbs, last week I was at 207. No sides this week.
 
Week 10-Day 1-Shoulders-Today was very very good. I was tired during the day but the workout was great, I went for the 10-8-8-8/dropset scheme. I felt some pumps and had some feet cramps just like I was during dianabol, strangely enough.
 
Week 10-Day 2-Arms- Today was very good. At times I literally re-counted my weight to make sure ive put on the right amount, its amazing. Got a personal record on triceps closed bench and tricep kickbacks. I re-lifted my personal record on my bicep curl.
 
Week 10-Day 3-Back- I am noticing that week 10 is much better than week 9. I have no explanation to this though. Week 9, despite still adding weight, seemed like I am on maintenance but this week is turning out to be much better. I am eating the same etc so Its strange. Got a personal best on traps today. A little bit of back pumps when doing rowing. Nothing more.
 
Week 10-Day 4-Rest- Had scheduled this day as rest day instead of Sunday due to appointments. Tommorow I will take my last shot, which by the way is much more than the usual dose because there is margin for error when shooting. It all balances out at the end obviously.
