My first cycle journal thread

I'm back and I just took my first shot and it went absolutely horrible lol. I thought i'd be more flexible when I pinned in the glute but it was hard to aspirate I felt the needle moving around my right arm got so pumped and I still had ml to shoot... it was bad and near completion I noticed the needle wasnt all the way in so I feel like I might've injected a little in fat < if so would i notice in the morning whether its in the fat or not? One more glute shot on thursday front load 2ml not looking forward to it at all. I dont want to make a bunch of threads to address my concerns while on cycle so I thought I'd just use this single thread. I guess my main concern right now is if I shot into fat pin wasnt at a perfect 90 degrees.. would it get absorbed? Only a little leaking right after shot but thats it so.. idk man, how much pain can i expect shortly

U are about to wish u were dead....how not 90 degrees was it cuz if is wasnt perpendicular to the laft or right ventricular arterial passages then the little bit of leakage out is usually multiplied by 10-12 as it finds its way to the sciatic nerve.......oh man.

Lol just fucking wit choo:p

LOL damn man holy shittt my whole mood dropped reading that first sentence

The pain you're going to get will be more from wiggling the needle around and damaging the tissue more than anything. You'll notice it the next day.
Pretend it's a dart when you get ready to jab and put it all the way in quick.
I never aspirate either, a nurse told me it's old school and not common practice now.

I need to aspirate just for comfort of mind

You never have to aspirate. Very old school thinking and not from the medical field anymore. I really don't know anyone myself that does but there are those.

I've been at this for many years a I keep saying and I have only tried to aspirate twice. Can't remember when. My father, a doctor taught me IV as well as IM injecting when I was young. There was a reason, he gave us all our injections, or most.

If you look at the mechanic of IM you are mostly perpendicular to the veins. As experienced to main lining, IV, it is very difficult to stay in the vein. Hence all the missed pins and the bruises when the nurses take blood for an example.

If you hit a vein you will either go thru it or out the side or back out but to inject more then a drop... Nope. People do nick a vein and bleed, get a minute amount of oil in and might, might get dizzy for a minute. No way you will inject anything harmful.

I don't have the articles but there are teaching tools that don't advise it. Also you will stay steadier if you don't screw with the syringe and needle with all this motion.

So, ... Yes Jim, my experience and knowledge is that I never had a problem in 35 years and Also I will add I never have heard anyone having a problem. Last note on this, if you do draw a little blood just push the needle in farther or pull a tiny, tiny bit while still in the muscle and you will be out of the vein.

Your question about what if you inject into fat. If you do by chance it will eventually get absorbed but it will take time , how long ???, You will not get the benefits as if you were in the muscle.

Sometime you may draw blood when you pull out but not to worry. Many people have nicked the vein and as you back out the blood may follow the tiny channel. The needle coming back can also cause a minor vacuum and cause a bleed. I have had the blood spew out like a faucet, but it will stop in a second and might cause a black n blue spot.

idk man I respect the way you guys do it but maybe down the line when I feel more comfortable with it I'll stop aspirating for glute shots. But I'm new to this n I'm a little anxious as is so I'm just gonna have to tough it out. Once this week is done and I'm finished front loading I might start shooting delts. Seems like it would be way easier to control what I'm doing

Well there are some that do aspirate.
However as someone pointed out by aspirating especially being a newbie it will make injecting a bit more difficult to keep the syringe steady and not moving around and tearing tissue. So your thinking of not aspirating when you get more experienced is backwards.

But as I said it is a waist and you should look at the dynamics, as I spelled it out to you. As I also told you I've been doing this since 1980' and have never aspirated IM injections but only IV. If it makes you feel better I will not keep arguing or trying to convince you otherwise. No harm in the grand scheme of things this is not important. :)

Day 2 woke up feeling alright, pain in the glute nothing more than expected I'm limping a little but its all good. I took 12.5 mg Aromasin yesterday after my shot, I woke up this morning feeling a little fatigued, semen was clear n watery looking. Is it too early to start making adjustments to the dosage? I was planning on 12.5 eod now I'm considering eo2d, should I just keep things as planned and see what happens this week before making a change?

I feel much more prepared for the next shot, was really unprepared for the first one but I got a little bit of a gameplan this time I'll let you know how it goes

I wouldn't even take the aro unless I felt symptoms of elevated e2. And if you are new to this, I wouldn't take the aro until I got bloods mid cycle. I don't normally suggest mid cycle bloods but if you are new, I would recommend and see how the test affects you. Why take something if there is no need for it?

Also, why don't you shoot the quad? Soooo much easier!

Much too early to change anything. If you are feeling the effects quite serious of the sides after a week or more then you might up it slightly but you should check with some of us.

Good idea I'm glad that you are starting to understand. It's all gite easy and really no big deal and you will get that. You can't really hurt yourself unless your not sterile. Hang in there.

Sometimes I dont asperate in the glute. If you are in the right spot it is unlikely you'll hit anything. Some times I do and sometimes I dont just depends how I feel. I still always asperate on my quads though because there is more stuff to hit there. Or at least I find stuff to hit in my quads. I've had to pull out and find another location there a couple times. You will know if you hit something though cause it hurts like a bitch. I haven't had as many problems since I started using a smaller guage needle though.

Try your quad next time. I just sit down on the toilet, go to a spot where I don't see a vein, rub some alcohol on it and pop the needle in. The whole process probably only takes a minute.

You'll be fine, man. It just might sting like a sonofabitch. Look up ventrogluteal injection. It doesn't require any twisting and is much easier to do in a controlled manner.

Bear in mind, it hurts a bit the first time (at least it did for me) but it's painless after that.
