Rough crowd here.

Not a rough crowd... This is what it looks like when men actually guide each other. You got some great advice in this thread. It stings a little at first but you'll be glad everyone told you how shit this protocol is.

Stop listening to the guys on tiktok and reddit who say you're a king and you're kicking ass no matter what. You're doing things horribly wrong and should be grateful that people are willing to correct you instead of watching you make unhealthy mistakes.

I have been doing research. But I keep finding conflicting answers otherwise I wouldn’t bother posting here.

I'm having a very hard time believing that you've found research suggesting you should take 1g of test and eat 2500 calories a day with 150g of protein. What research have you seen that made you think a 200lb man could bulk on 2500 calories? That's what a 16 year old female athlete would need to bulk.

Here is the most basic TDEE calculator on google and if you're a 28 year old man living an active lifestyle, you'd need over 3300 calories a day just to maintain. TDEE Calculation Results

I’m not trying to make excuses but I have to be careful when consuming carbs because it spikes my blood sugar. It’s made things difficult. I was consuming a higher amount of calories but my gut was growing faster than my arms.

My current split I train EVERY muscle group twice a week.
I do about 40 sets a week for EVERY muscle group.
You are overtraining. The stress causes high cortisol and cortisol makes you FAT. On top of that, you are undereating. You need atleast 250g of protein daily and a multivitamin or more. You also need carbs. You have to avoid eating fat. Low fat diet is critical.

It takes many more months to see lasting epigenetic changes from testosterone. It's a slow and steady process. You don't have to even work hard or frequently to get big gains While you are resting, you are building muscle.

You are just spinning your wheels man.

I’ve upped my protein to about 150g a day.
Calories are constant around 2500.

I’m worried my volume in the gym might be too high and it’s keeping me from growing.

I only just started 1 gram of test E this week
150g a day?

For reference I am running over a gram of sustanon, and my macros are:

320g protein
600g carbs
80g fat

About 4500 calories.

Why would you even consider running anything if your training, recovery and nutrition weren't in order?

I don't want to assume, but seeing that you are eating terribly, I am inclined to believe that this reflects other aspects. It's very hard to imagine someone who gives it their all in their training but then gives up and ignores the rest.

And also "upped" to 150? What were you eating before? I was eating over 200gs as a natural. Maybe PCT and do everything properly for a few years then try again? Or maybe this isn't right for you.

Best of luck.

Do you think I’m over training?

Do you think I’m over training?
Maybe maybe not. I know you said you're doing 40 sets a muscle group which usually would mean you're overtraining. But how hard do you train?
I mean 40 sets a week are your joints & connective tissue screaming at you? Also you'd have to be in the gym 3-4 hours a day to get all those sets in with appropriate rest. If youre resting 1 minute between sets there's no way you're training anywhere close to failure.

Honestly this whole things a disaster. 1g of test a week, 2500 calories & gaining fat in your stomach it just doesn't add up .

When you say training to failure, what do you mean? I’ve heard that term used interchangeably

Failure is when you can't do another rep with decent forum. Close to failure is 2-3 reps away
Okay then yes we are talking about the same thing.
I typically go to failure on the last two sets either by increasing intensity or volume.
I like to get good slow and controlled reps on the first few sets.

Is this really how people do shit now-a-day's? I don't know how to train and I have no idea how my macros and calories should look...not even close. But I'm gonna jump on roids and eat some crackers.

Hopefully by the time this thread is over I'll have someone spoon feed me everything I need.

I keep getting told that.

If you have spent time researching then you should have known you weren’t eating enough calories and protein to grow. You would have known 1 gram of test for a first cycle is beyond stupid.

I find it hard to believe you found conflicting information about those two very basic concepts.

Stop the cycle. Stop doing 40 sets per muscle per week. Learn how to train and eat properly, and try again in the near future to do things correctly so you can see results.

what he's doing is stupid but

everywhere else on the forum "you can't ask what dose you need, everyone responds Differently you need to figure it out by yourself like I did"

*ok, tries something*
"what the hell are you doing you should know that's a completely moronic dose"

" you need to stop listing to tictok and youtube fitness influencers"
*ok, asks a basic question here*

" What the hell are you doing asking day 1 shit here"

ECT

again, what he's doing is stupid but how is any beginner (hell anyone for that matter) supposed to figure it out with yall acting like this?

Thank you, it’s easy to troll and shame someone but not very many people have offered actual advise

So nowadays everyone is on steroids, but don't look like that. Skipping natural gains were their biggest mistake. If you can't grow even on steroids then just quit that shit and enjoy being average person.
