Day 8 (July 19th, 2016):
I focused on core and grip strength at the globo gym today. I practiced the “dragon flag” and I’m so close at being parallel with the floor. I also did 4 rounds of farmer’s walk. I walked 60 feet and carried 45 lb. dumb bells for each round. I could have done a heavier weight- I’ll make sure to carry 50 lbs. next time.

Notes:
- I increased my dosage to 10mg/day today (5mg at noon & 5mg in the evening) since I’ve been comfortable at the lower dosage.
- I have a couple minor injuries and I self-diagnosed myself. I'm pretty sure I have medial tibia stress syndrome (aka shin split) in my left ankle from too much running and practicing my double unders last week. And I may have quadriceps tendonitis in my right knee. I am going to take it easy because I don’t want it to get worse.
- My CrossFit affiliate is closing their doors on August 1st L I’m interested in buying some of their equipment and transforming my garage and spare room into a miniature gym. It will be expensive at first but it will pay itself off in the long run if I don’t pay for membership at a different affiliate. I think my boyfriend is game. Plus, a CrossFit affiliate that has good coaching, good programming and good pricing is rare!
