In socialist Europe, isn't the financial aid for students absolutely phenomenal? Even here, you can easily get enough to attend a school. A dude might have to work while attending school(it's amazing to me the amount of people who don't work while going to school) but he can get the tuition taken care of.

Yeah I think our FA system kind of sucks in a way. My ex had a kid from a prior relationship, she use to brag "I had to scramble to pay for school but after I had my kid they pay for it all plus some." She use to pay her credit cards off with college grant money given to her because she had a kid, whille many other people have hard times getting loans.

That's almost a good thing, though. If they pay for her to go to school, then the child benefits in the end. A college grad makes significantly more money than a person with no diploma. That money translates into a much higher standard of living for the child which is a good thing.

That depends on what the chick does with her life. A kid out of wedlock, while still in school and paying CC bills with grant money. Sounds to me like she has a lot stacked against her and I would be somewhat surprised if the kid ended up as rosey as you pictured. If she is motivated to have a good career, then she'll be droppin the kid off at a $5/hr daycare where they could really give a shit about your kid, who ends up growing up with a crappy family life and repeats the same process as his mom. Id say the kid is kinda screwed.

Hopefully she is. I got foodstamps and all sorts of shit in cc and at Palmer but I used the welfare for the right reason. I will tell you that our welfare will just hand a great education to you if u just show up(now i still owe over 100k to palmer but they paid for undergrad) There is no excuse for the non workers out there.
