The guy who PMed me has a pic of his quads in the media. ( fucking insane ). He says he starts with leg presses and then goes to squats.
Short, taller. Different experiences. My quads arent far from my waist size which is 33". In fact I need to abandon underwear. Cuz all the ones I usually wear are strangling my legs and getting all stretched out. I'm not super cut tho.

I strictly use leg presses as an auxiliary exercise as they ARE LESSER than squats. Especially for the distance I have to drop and power out of. Leg presses are a protective measure to make sure I fail safely. Hence supersets

Odie - I'm sure you were referring to Korat , I saw his pics too . The guy has great legs just like you have great arms .

It's not his routine , which I would never do (leg press first) squats should always come first IMO , when you are at your strongest . He does them last . I don't think so .

Great body parts mean great genetics , Not great routine . Again , IMO .

No matter how long or hard I try I could never get Trukkers 33" inch thighs nor could I ever build your massive forearms . It's not in my genetic make-up no matter what routine I do .

We can only improve what we got born with and bring up the weaker body parts , but only to a certain point . We can't change a muscles length or insertion points , which predict how a muscle appears . Body fat levels are the biggest decider , Korats at low BF and it shows...
 
I agree and disagree. I used to be known for my wheels back in high school. My legs were definatly bigger then my waist. Now not so much. Lol. My job has restricted me from working legs that much though. Now that I'm fixing to start a new one I want to become a all around beast.

My legs have always been big enough to make my nuts very uncomfortable. I'm gonna measure these fuckers when I get home. ( my thighs not my nuts) My waist is 32. Well that's my pants waist size at the moment. I want my thighs around that size.
 
I always start leg day with extensions, i feel like it warms up the knees and quads so when im done im ready to hit squats hard and heavy.
Same here. I also do preworkout calisthenics to make sure my legs are warmed up ready to go, as my old knees are a little creaky so don't want to risk injury.
 
Hey Odie i just laid out the dimensions of your rack and i come up with 8,ft 5 1/2" so gonna be a tough fit.
 
Yeah i know, but the good news is drywall is very easy to repair. And it will be well worth it
 
Fuck fuck fuck. My ceiling is 8.4
Figured it was going to be very close. What about flipping it up from the long edge rather than the short edge instead as the diagonal from the 4 foot long side will be shorter than from the long edge.

EDIT: Taking the monkey bar off temporarily is also a good idea
