Daily you smash my dreams of catching you fuckerYep that's all. I know I could of got 500. I did 475 real smooth but as soon as I picked it up I had instant pain in my lower back. I pushed through it though just to get it.
I'm a big guy and when my back flares up it brings me to my knees and I curse like a marine. And tell myself why don't you just stand up? The answer is I CANT. At least not in that moment. It worries my family and it's undeniable the pain it brings. But that was my choice. I've been better at choosing more wisely as I get older. Certain things I just will not do. Any doctor, chiropractor or respected member in medicine will tell you deadlifts are extremely hazardous to the welfare of your spine and cartridge. It's a exercise designed to injure. Unique in this category placing the spine in a very weak position and having to clean a load from the floor especially with the hands in front of the knees. If I don't mind suggesting a diamond bar if they are super important to you. If not carry on. I'll get off my soap box nowYeah my dad has had multiple back and neck surgeries. He used to compete in skydiving. I believe that's why is back is jacked up. I watched him age him 10 years over night. Just so he can function he's on a high dose of Vicodin. I damn sure don't want that. My back just started hurting me this week. It feels like it needs to be popped but I can't get it to. I'm gonna go see my Chrio friend soon and get to the bottom of it. I'm sure it's cause I'm going heavy on everything in the gym and really pushing myself.
That great to hear. I'm still looking for my happy ending.I have made my return to the squat rack and deads this year after years of bulging discs and sciatic flare ups. I just keep it reasonable no more then a couple hundred pounds. Gh has also seemed to help. I took yoga for six months because of being away from the movement for so long. I had to relearn on engaging the hip flexors. Yoga and Gh has worked well for me my back is better now then it has been in a decade.
Craigslist for plates, at least for me.Its official, she's mine

Mines not red though. Pics don't do it justice. I measured out a spot for it and its HUGE. Should get it about the time I get back from vacation. GF's gonna be pissed, especially when I tell her how much shipping was. Oh well she will be happy in a few years when I have a full blown gym. Money well spent, I will have it the rest of my life and you can't put a price on fitness and health. Now somebody give me a damn deal on some plates for fuck shakes.
Yeah my dad has had multiple back and neck surgeries. He used to compete in skydiving. I believe that's why is back is jacked up. I watched him age him 10 years over night. Goodluck Odie and goodluck Odies dad . Nothing worse than a bad back , it makes everything miserable . Lots of warm compressions . RICE .
I see adrenalin junkies is a family trait , thats how I was raised too ...
Yeah my dad used to skydive into our homecoming football games. It was dark and you couldn't see him till he got right below the lights. He would land on the 50 yard line every year and hand us the game ball. Its in all my year books. We lived over seas for years when I was a boy in a country that had nothing to offer for entertainment. So my dad started competing in sky diving . I grew up traveling to airports all over the world. Not sure why I turned out like I did. ( the whole crackhead thing). I come from a really good family.
Damn...remind me not to ever piss him off if I ever in that area lolHeres the strongest guy I know , hes one of our local deputies/rangers on the coast . John Cooper , he won a major PL meet in San Diego (overall) and got a 615 bench a few months ago . I see him throw up 5 bills all the time . Freaky strong ...

Don't for one minute think 475 is a bad DL. Yea there is alway gonna be someone bigger or stronger but the point is your bettering your self everytime you hit a PR. It's not like your on a complete PL regiment right now either. All the routines and weight you log are in the elite status.
Yeah it just bothers me that my upper body is stronger then my legs. It's not natural. When I was younger I squatted way more then I could bench. really though they are about the same but that's still not natural. I feel like I should be squatting 650 and benching 475. I am no where near that squat and may never be.
