I agree with that. She looks great. I think trying to lose anymore fat will result in too much muscle loss.

Atta girl! You'll get it no problem. The worst case scenario is you dont get it and you bail out, safeties catch the bar and nothing gets hurt excelt maybe your ego, but im pretty confident you will hit it no problem.

Today is definately a day to remember.
I wanted to go for 2 plates in my squat (thank you @insaiyan93 for the motivation!)
I warmed up, loaded the plates.
Two jacked older men in the background were staring at me.

First try, failed.

They came up to me to help me deload the bar. One of the guys said he used to be a powerlifter and coached me on my breathing.

Second try... (Now a bunch of people are watching)
1x5 225 squat!!!!

He deloads the bar to 135 and tells me, give me 10.
Alright.

Loads the bar again to 225 lbs... "One more time".
1x4!!'

::Busted out my best moves doing a happy dance:::

I was shocked!! They asked me how much I weight. 110, I replied...
Took his gloves off and shook my hand.
"You're like an ant. That was very impressive"

I did put on 0.16% body fat since my last reading lol (been slacking on my cardio)
BUT I've gained
7.12 lbs of lean muscle in 9 weeks ago...On a vegetarian diet:p

I'm super happy!

NOTES-
I'm noticing I'm putting on weight a little easier than before.
As much as I want to cut and go on a deficit, my goal for this cycle was to put on as much mass as possible. I will keep my diet as it is 2,000 cals daily. 40P/40C/20F.
I'm will increase cardio for the rest of this cycle to keep fat gain at bay.

Bruhhhhhhhhhhh!! That is fuckin awesome! I can hardly believe you failed on the first and then hit 5!! Shit i should have tried to bench 315 a second time when i failed a few months ago! Way to go girl, fuckin awesome!! Im amped as shit for you haha

Shit i figured you had a double in ya but i never wouldve guessed 5, that just means you havent been pushing hard enough ;p fuckin dig deep and you can pull all kinds of strength out of the abyss.

Guys not trying to take away anything but how does one go for a PR and then hit that 1rm 9 time first 5 times, then 4 times the second go around....I just don't and have never seen a true 1rm get hit more than 1 rep. Then her true 1rm isn't 225, it'd be like 250-260... again not trying to take anything and I'm not saying she didn't but I've never had a girl that I've trained hit any PR more than that, hell I've never hit my PRs for 9.

You are right. She is capable of more than 225. Not sure exactly what the powerlifter told her but he obviously corrected at least one form error. I agree she is likely capable of 260. Probably even more than that with a few sessions of coaching.

Makes it even more awesome to me at 110 without a ton of lifting experience.

Honestly i think its because she hasnt been pushing it, she fuckin ballsed up and did it. I dont have any reason to believe she would lie about it, she's never said anything outlandish on here before. I think she just dug deep and decided to stop being a pussy ;) hahahah jk jk

You know, I never go for 1RMs. Not my thing. To me my PRs are reps.
Last time I squatted I did 195 and wanted to be conservative and attempt 200. Insayian talked me into trying 225.. I really just wanted to go for 1 or 2, but I had more in the tank. Those two guys were cheering for me and I was pumped.
So yea, I guess you're right. My 1RM is prob 240-250.
Btw, I never said I did 9 reps.

I would've never expected to be able to add 90 lbs to my squat... I used to struggle with 135 when I started this cycle.
Squatting 3x a week was the best advice I've ever gotten

Congratulations @Devika. I know you don't have any interest in powerlifting but just so you know 225 would be in the top 15 in the current national rankings for the open class 105 pound raw squat division. You could likely compete at 105 with some water manipulation.

That's the thing I work with some girls that are apart of USAW as well and headed to nationals those numbers are a bit outlandish.

@Devika your hit 135 for 12 then 225 for 5 then another 135 for 7 then another 225 for 4...I'm not hating on you but it just seems odd.

Easily. If she's doing 225 for reps now, she could certainly squat higher on singles.

We might have the makings of a champion powerlifter here.
 
Lol dont worry @Devika hes just mad cuz he can only hit 225 for 3 lol. I believe it. Look at her quads(if you can get your eyes off da booty) mo thicka than a snicka. I dont think she would say 5 because it seems too conspicuous, if she was gonna lie ahe would say 2 or maybe 3.
