UPDATE

DAY 65

Today is definately a day to remember.
I wanted to go for 2 plates in my squat (thank you @insaiyan93 for the motivation!)
I warmed up, loaded the plates.
Two jacked older men in the background were staring at me.

First try, failed.

They came up to me to help me deload the bar. One of the guys said he used to be a powerlifter and coached me on my breathing.

Second try... (Now a bunch of people are watching)
1x5 225 squat!!!!

He deloads the bar to 135 and tells me, give me 10.
Alright.

Loads the bar again to 225 lbs... "One more time".
1x4!!'

::Busted out my best moves doing a happy dance:::

I was shocked!! They asked me how much I weight. 110, I replied...
Took his gloves off and shook my hand.
"You're like an ant. That was very impressive"

Today's workout was short but amazing.

Squats
1x12 135
1x5 225 PR!!!!! Woot woot
1x7 135
1x4 225
1x8 135

BB hip thrusts
1x10 135
3x8 155

Leg press (narrow)
3x8-10 430

BEST DAY SO FAR :)

Had a nice booty pump going.
Here you go @CensoredBoardsSuck nothing impressive, but I'm damn proud of it. I've built it from scratch... Still under construction:p
I'm super excited what 225 lbs will do to it and my quads:)

Weight: 110.8 lbs
BF %: 14.13
Lbs of BF: 15.65
Lbs of lean body weight: 96.15

I did put on 0.16% body fat since my last reading lol (been slacking on my cardio)
BUT I've gained
7.12 lbs of lean muscle in 9 weeks ago...On a vegetarian diet:p

I'm super happy!

NOTES-
I'm noticing I'm putting on weight a little easier than before.
As much as I want to cut and go on a deficit, my goal for this cycle was to put on as much mass as possible. I will keep my diet as it is 2,000 cals daily. 40P/40C/20F.
I'm will increase cardio for the rest of this cycle to keep fat gain at bay.

Very nice Devika! Definitely, definitely, definitely see a squat booty and pump!!!! Keep it up!

now after 9 years away and it can truly be conquered, like anything in life. I'm not saying go have a drink but that as we age we change and anything is possible.

That is so true!
It's nice to see there are many MESO members who overcame these issues.
Thank you for sharing your experience :)

You'd be scary running tren, girly! On something more powerful than var you could probably squat 4x your bodyweight!!! Lol. Can't wait to see how you do on your primo anadrol stack.

Hey babe, I've been thinking of you! How are you doing?
You're so funny, happy. I would never run tren even if I could squat an elephant lol
Btw, how much of your strength did you lose now that you're off cycle? I'm so not looking forward to it :(
My next cycle is gonna be primo only.
I don't think I'm gonna be stacking anything anytime soon. It was very interesting all the info discussed about Anadrol though... Def something to keep in mind. I believe sampei' girl is gonna be running it. I'm curious to hear the results!

Wow dev!!!! WAY TO GO

What's that...like 90lbs on your squat in 2 months?!?! On 10mg of var no less and a diet of beans and eggs. That's incredible!!!! The PL girls I train with on mass gainers, dedicated PL programs and coaches don't even see these kind of unbelievable results. Some of them even on gear.

225 squat for 4 reps in 2 months have to be the most incredible results I've ever seen on a 110 lb girl. It's like world record holding numbers!!! You missed your calling in the powerlifting world!

Due to your bulging disk problem, I'd send someone a video of your form to make sure you don't hurt yourself or aggravate the problem.

I'm sure next round you can hit like 260 or something at the rate you're going!!!

Unbelievable results! Great job. Lol.

Thanks, girl!
It does amaze me my squat went up 90 lbs in 9 weeks of this cycle.
Crazy how much a tiny dose can do, right?
I wish I could say the same about my bench press lol
My main focus was to build lots of muscle mass in my legs and shoulders.
I measured myself yesterday and I put on 1.5" in my quads and 2" in my shoulders. Strength has def been a surprising bonus, too bad strength gains aren't as keepable as lean muscle mass...well, I think. I guess I'll find out in a few weeks.

Would def like to try PL in the near future. My goal for next year is to compete in NPC though. One of the reasons why I decided to start this Anavar cycle was to but on a good 5-10 lbs of muscle. Beyond happy with the results :)

Why? Ethic choice or just want to be healthier? :)

Ethics.
Don't get me wrong, I loved chicken and omg bacon was my weakness.
I'm a sucker for animals and I really don't agree with the way the meat industry treats them.
Personally, if I can live without having to eat an animal, I feel much happier that way.
Personal choice. To each their own, you know?
When I started this cycle I was a bit nervous though bc I didn't know if a
vegetarian diet would hinder my gains. Pretty proud that I've put on 7 lbs of solid mass :)

Good for you! I tried to be a strict vegetarian and I just can't get my nutrients without fish. So that's the bargain I make with myself. I know they can have terrible living conditions too but in my head I like to believe what I've heard, that they have 3 second memories so maybe it's not that bad. Horrible I know. The meat industry is so corrupt. I have hunters try and taunt me at work sometimes and they don't understand that I have way less of a hard time with hunting than commercial meat. (I still think it's cheating tho if you feed a deer on your land all year and entice them with things they like and then "hunt" them.)

I'm proud that you are a true veg and have gotten the gains you have!!

The first time I tried a vegetarian diet was when I was in HS but became very anemic bc I didn't know how substitute nutrients correctly.
About 3 yrs ago when I did my yoga teacher training, one of the pre-reqs was to maintain a vegan diet during the 6 month course. We learned a lot about nutrition and I decided to continue with a vegetarian diet. Vegan was a little too strict for me..I love cheese. Besides, BBing was gonna be a lot more difficult, so I opted for consuming milk derivatives and eggs (not very fond of them, but I do it for the gains)

It is really sad when you research the life those poor animals have... even though there are meat sources of grass fed beef and cage-less chicken, etc.. I really have a deep love for animals and can't digest the thought of them dying so that I can eat. Some people think it's stupid, but that's just the way o feel about the subject.
There are ways of getting all nutrients from a plant based diet. From a BBing point of view, it requires a bit more of work, but it's totally doable.
I actually have a friend who competes in women's physique and she's 100% vegan. Totally admire her.

I have nothing against people hunting for their food. Animals do that too.
I would never be able to do it, but it's way better than buying meat of animals that suffered a terrible life of abuse :(

I love meat... But I shell out a lot of money for locally raised meats because I know where they came from and it's much higher quality than commercial. I do buy chicken in bulk though.

It's really respectable to live a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle. I dated a vegan for awhile, I wouldn't be and to do it myself. Meat is a huge part of my diet, several pounds a day sometimes.

I did yoga for awhile D! It was fun, I wish I could do it some still but it just doesn't fit into my training schedule. Maybe I'll try to fit it in on a rest day this summer, it's perfect for stretching. My teacher was 60 and kicked my ass every single session!

How is she supposed to hit PRs listening to that sleeper?

Don't listen to him, Devika. It's Rock and Roll that drives PRs.

I am totally there with you, CBS.
I'm a Rock & Roll girl and that's all I ever listen to when I work out.
Everything in between System of a Down to Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles

I'm currently jammin' to The Eagles greatest hits album. Found a vintage copy when I went record hunting earlier today :)

You should really try to get back to it. I think it's such a great addition to a weight training routine.
I try to include some yoga during my off days... I have to admit I've been slacking off in my personal practice since I started this cycle though.
I'm reminded whenever my lower back starts bothering me.

I want to get certified as a personal trainer this year. I think it will pair well with my yoga instructor certification.
That's one of the goals I have lined up for the next few months :)
