•FEMALE LOG/ANAVAR•

I had the same feelings when I read 8 weeks :(

I can't imagine not lifting for 8 weeks. That's so long! I wonder if there are ways to prevent as much muscle loss as possible while in recovery.

I got hit with the flu yesterday and can barely get any food down. I already feel like I'm shrinking away.:(

The sides aren't too bad. I was a little scared when I upped the dose but my body seems to be reacting well.
Sometimes I wish I could go to the gym everyday, but I'm giving this new format of training a try. Training legs 3X a week is something I never though possible. Super excited to see the results.
And yes, in pretty much every female journal I read, they spoke about feeling lethargic. Maybe it's due to the fact you're training harder and the body is constantly working to repair? I've noticed I'm sleeping a lot more, or want to sleep more. I've been waking up at around noon some days. Haven't done that since I was in my teens!!
When are you leaving on vacation @Crystal234 ? I'm so excited for you to join me in this ride. It's pretty cool there was so many more females here in MESO and running Var :)

Injectable B12 is nice for energy also, gives me a very nice overall wellness feeling. Oral version would probably be good for you too but I've gotten much better results from injectable twice a week.

My doc gave me a shot of B12 bc I'm a vegetarian. I really liked it. Isn't that the one that helps clear up acne as well? I remember reading about one of the Bs.

Your theory makes perfect sense. How has it been training 3x per week? Do you feel that it's intense enough? I tried a full/body 3x a week program last year but couldn't get used to not being able to fully burn-out a particular muscle group in one session.

I leave next week and plan to start cycle on April 1st. Can't wait! I'm a bit nervous though because I'm pretty sensitive when it comes to meds. Only one way to find out!

It is taking me a while to get used to it. I was so used to being at the gym 5-6x a week. Sometimes idk what to do with myself on my rest days and sometimes I feel like I should be using all this extra strength and lift everyday. I'm doing a six day program. 3 days of training, 3 days of rest. But technically, I train 4x a week.
However, given that I am squatting 3X, my workouts are longer, and I'm lifting heavier than before, I realize my body is probably grateful to have a full 24hrs to just chill, repair and get ready for the next day. I think if I were to train daily i would feel even more tired and maybe even get sick. I remember reading in several logs girls getting sick during their cycle and being out for a few days. Coincidence? Maybe. Or perhaps it was just over training.
If these guys can grow massively with this program, I'll be damned if I don't! Lol
Definately getting out of my comfort zone, but in life that's where growth happens right? I'm applying the same principle here:)

Glad your stayin dedicated to the program even though it's outa our comfort zone after these 8 weeks your going to be so pleased I'm sure of it. Plus correct me if I'm wrong but your still doing yoga or light cardio some rest days right so at least your moving! Yoga is probably the absolutely best thing to do on a rest day for a split like that too

I've read that it does, I've never noticed it actually make a difference for me personally but the energy and everything is good. I got better sleep it seemed like also which may have been why I felt the overall wellness part during the day.

I had gynecomastia surgery for puberty induced gyno. I was out for about 8 weeks, but that doesn't mean completely out. You can still work out all your other muscle groups. 8 weeks is for chest muscles. I would do legs, then once my body started recovering I slowly added arms, shoulders and back. Eventually abs then chest

Those are great news!
I def have to prepare myself mentally to not being able to work out like I'm used to and maybe dealing with the anxiety that it will cause.
I guess a nice rack comes with a price:(

Yes, yoga and cardio. That's the plan. This week I couldn't do as much cardio as I wanted bc I had to work so much.
Next week, though, I will make it a point to stick to cardio and yoga in my rest days.

I have 32DD's under the muscle and this is the main reason why I never did any chest exercises. I do now, but have to wear a high neck gym top to hide the ugly squeezing motion that you see my breasts do. It's so embarrassing! I opted for unders because they were supposedly more natural looking, but due to the fact that I've been very serious about lifting over the past few years, I want to trade them in for over the muscle now.

One question for ya, how do you deal with not being able to lift for 8 weeks during recovery? That's my biggest concern. I lose muscle sooo quickly and can already see my gains diminishing, just thinking about it.:(

The 8 weeks isn't that bad. Your body is in recovery mode and it's worth the wait. If you keep your diet super clean then you should be fine. For me personally I actually still ran a low dose of var and gh through my recovery and I didn't lose much. I still stayed just about the same..except the extra weight of my new "twins"... if I remember correctly, I started back up slowly with cardio and some light machine work, just to get my body moving and remembering.

And yes, over muscle is definitely the way to go if you lift or compete as it looks 1 million times better.

@GearGodess you're the best xo

DAY 9
Still taking 10 mgs daily, split in two doses.

I had to hit the gym really early bc I had to work all day. I literally dragged my a** during the whole workout. I felt very lethargic. I absolutely hated doing squats. I wanted to go for 135 but my lower back and legs were still sore from deads. Opted to just stay at 115 lbs and concentrate on really squeezing the muscles throughout each rep.
I could tell the increase of strength when I did shoulders. My mood improved a little bit. Decided to do some cardio as well. I have a photoshoot next week so I'm gonna start doing cardio daily to see if I can shed a bit of fat until then.
