Yeah, That can be a concern for sure but after the draw the proper technique would be to replace the cap over the needle so it’s sealed off.

I suppose you could sterilize with an alcohol swab if you’re going cap less but poppin’ the cap back on just makes the most sense.
More so afraid of water seeping in through that needle cap because there not air tight seals I’ve tested that theory and stuff can get past the seal

I hold it by the needle cap so the water runs down the other way (toward the plunger). The cap stays dry. It's pretty quick because the tap water is hot and oil in a syringe seems to warm much faster than oil in a vial on a hot plate. And you're warming less oil in the syringe vs in the vial.

I literally drop the syringe in the sink and walk away lol never had water get into the syringe, youd see it not mixing

I gorilla grip twist the luner lok cap though.

How do you guys count iu quantity when mixing and dosing?

I am so used to, oh, it's 10 iu, so one tenth is 1 iu . . . but Opti says 12.8 per vial.

I know it does not matter, but I worked my way up from one tenth to two tenths of a vial, and I am currently doing 1/3 of a vial daily (Optis)

Do you call that 3.3. or 4.1666666666666 . . . ?

No sides like CTS, just typical water retention throwing on two to three pounds (like, literally, I stopped for a few days and saw three pounds shed without any other changes, LOL, started it back up and weight popped right back on).

So for me I take and round up or down depends on what the numbers are if it was 12.3 iu per vial I add 1.2 ml and then I have. 1 unit per 10th I would probably just round up to 13 and draw 1.3 for the 12.8 iu vials

If your taking 1/3 of a 12.8iu vial I think it would be roughly 4.25iu

That is the easiest way to do it. If you're injecting 1/2 a vial per day, reconstitute with 1 mL and inject 0.5 mL/d.

If you're injecting 1/3 a vial per day, reconstitute with 1.2 mL and inject 0.4 mL/d.

If you're reconstituting 12.8 IU with 1 mL, 1/3 of that (~0.33 mL/d) is ~4.27 IU/d.

24iu, damn what sides are you experiencing?
it felt great honestly, im running optis greys now one vial a day with lantus, great clean gh, no carpal just sleepy most of the time and feeling very young. I don't really pay attention to carpal anymore.

edit: on the 24iu i was using an insulin ancillary, my vision was actually pretty blurry the day of the test. Blood sugar was fucked thats for sure.

I guess it’d depend on if you’re just running the barrel under the hot water or if you’re submerging the entire syringe. I’ve never submerged the entire syringe and I don’t think I would for the reasons you stated though, if you still have on draw needle and that’s locked tight with the cap on. Once you twist off the pull needle and put on the new injection needle, which would be sterile I think that’d be a safe bet if using Luer Lock twists, not so much if using cap on syringes.

I do the math on it. I’m using an injector pen so I only round at the very end if needed. In the attached image, right page comes first, the left page is second, with an update on the bottom left. Old habit from my chemistry days :)

So for the 12.80IU vials, if you reconstitute two vials with a total of 3mL of BAC water then you can put the solution in a 3mL injection pen vial and 23iu (23 clicks on the pen) is 2IU. If you’re doing a third of a vial a day, you could basically double that and put FOUR vials in 3mL and you’d be at 23iu solution yielding ~4.26IU. Check my math though, I’m not done with my coffee, just scribbling. And I have no idea what the solubility of HGH is either, my experience is limited there.
