painful testosterone enanthate powder

Did the stored test Enanthate powder get too hot in storage over time????

I know from years of being in this, any time the test Enanthate powder is clumpy or waxy, the end result will always be painful injections once formulated. I'm not sure of the scientific reason behind it, but I know in my instances it was becsuse the powder got too hot and maybe cooled back down to around room temperature.

I've had to throw away hundreds of grams at a time before after getting a shipment in of test Enanthate because it got too hot and got clumpy / waxy. Once it's like that it's best to just throw it away.

I was wondering if that may be a possibility. All the powders I have are stored together in one big plastic container that I keep in the closet. They are in separate plastic bags but only the test e got progressively lumpier as I used more and more of it. The last bit was like breaking apart old hardened modeling clay or plasticine.

I always had air-conditioning running but who knows...could've got hot enough on the hottest days of the summer to have it start melting.

Test e has the lowest melting point so it's possible it could have been melting and then cooling off and clumping together. I have read posts where other individuals had the same thing happen but we're able to brew without any issues though.

I still wont rule out that something happens to the powder in some instances of melting and rehardening that changes it and makes it painful.

wish I knew more about this stuff on a chemistry level or heard from someone that can say so without question. lol

I think this is the most likely answer though and not carbolic acid or phenol or condensation, etc...

On the bright side the source is replacing what can't be used anymore so.I'm thankful for that.

Appreciate sharing your experience.

Maybe I'll stick with Cypionate in the future but heard that was pretty finicky?
 
update. The powder turned into a yellow goo and I ended up throwing it out. Was it starting to get concentrated prior to melting into the mass I mentioned? Would that account for the pain?

Just thinking out loud. lol
 
It's possible that when the powders melt and go solid again the different components get separated and you end up with something that isn't properly mixed up. I've wondered this because I've had test e melt to where I couldn't tell the difference between test e and eq because they both looked the same. I had to put them both in the fridge to see which one hardened into a solid. I've never had an issue just because test e has melted though. It's going to melt when you brew it anyway.
 
I know this has been on several boards but I haven't been able to find a definitive answer to my problem so I'm hoping someone with deeper knowledge on here can offer a suggestion.



Just a starting note, I have brewed several compounds all with great success, so the method of production isn't one that is a mystery in any way.

Several months ago I received some test e powder from a source I used in the past and made 200 ml of test enanthate at 250mg/ml. All shots were painless and the results were great.

Recently I brewed some of what was left over. immediately I noticed the powder was more lumpy and waxy which I don't consider an issue. I brewed like normal, 10% BB, 1% BA, and gso. The result was incredibly painfull gear that resulted in redness and lumps in the injection site area. the pain in incredible and lasts days before going away.

I have made several other attempts with different ratios of BB and different oil, adding ethyle oleate, new ingredients, etc....but the gear always hurts like hell.

After several days a faint milky substance can be seen floating in the vials. All my gear is double filtered through a glass frit. cleanliness is without question.

So I'm wondering what the hell happened to cause once painless powder to hurt like hell?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't have any suggestions but I just had the same thing happen, milky substance at the bottom, did you ever find out what it was?, Mine was from China source as well. Just made ten 10ml bottles and within a week they all got foggy or milky, my last batch did not do that, same supplier as last year???

Foggy or milky gear is unwanted moisture. I’ve had that once and still used the gear with no ill effects. I stopped using hot water after that. Swirls means the gear is crashing and falling out of the solution. I would throw milky gear away. Moisture could lead to bacteria growth. If it swirls I would probably just hear it every time I pinned if it wasn’t too painful.

Do you think the leftovers may have been exposed to air moisture?

I'm asking because maybe it hydrolyzed

Sorry that I step into this thread.
,,cloudy,, gear could be from carrier oil what you use. Because some of them contains some water + if your powder was not hermetically sealed, could absorb some moisture. You can brew test ENA without BB , if you tolerate EO, make your gear only with 5-10% EO and 1% BA ( if you have chlorobutanol , so 0,3-0,5 % )
 
I'm sure he could brew it without BB in grapeseed oil also. I've done this before but at 250mg/ml and I'm in a warmer climate. I'm pretty sure it's just moisture. Nothing a vent needle can't fix with a little heat.
Also the little bit of cloudyness I saw looked like the cloudy whiteness you get when air pushes the remaining of the oil through the syringe filter and into the vial. This will look like residue but is actually a cluster of very small air bubbles and would go away after the oil settles over night. Completely normal actually.
 
I shake the bottle and it disappears but comes back, I heat the test and it disappears but still always comes back!

I’ve had it come in white looking powder, a gooey yellow form and if it gets warm enough it will look like honey almost. If you’ve ever seen eq it’s hard to tell them apart. At one point I had to put both eq and test e in the fridge to tell them apart. Eq will remain a honey like substance and test e will turn into a hard waxy like substance. I think it turns yellow if it’s melted. When it solidifies it stays kind of a yellow substance. If kept the right temp it’s a white clumpy powder looking substance from the manufacturer. That’s my experience anyway. Bottom line is either way it’s still test e. Just measure out what you want and brew it. If it’s in a stolid state and you put a little on your fingers and press it together the warmth will turn it to a sticky liquid.
