Anaphylaxis/allergic reaction would be about the best use (some countries that start with USA) can charge $500-1000 to have an EPI Pen on hand (don't get me started on that insanity).
I'm scared/impressed/not judging (ok maybe a little) if someone is using that as part of their pre-workout mix but now you got me curious on the answer.

And I don't know if people use it pre workout or not, that's just kind of where my mind gravitated too when the question was asked.
Imagine slamming some adrenaline in the parking lot then going into the gym for a leg day. Would probably be a wild ass leg day, assuming your heart rate isn't off the rails

Someone in one of the peptide communities I'm in hit a blood vessel with a ghrp or ghrh and had an unexpected reaction causing anaphylaxis. They luckily had some epi on hand and it likely saved their life. I'd like my friends and family to have some on hand in case of emergency and think it's wild that it isn't part of normal emergency first aid kits.

Anaphylaxis is an allergic reaction. You don’t get an allergic reaction from nicking a vein from injecting peptides lol.
The implication was not that it was a reaction due to mechanical damage 'lol'
Just that the allergic reaction was exacerbated due to the delivery 'lol'

Just wanted to clear the record before screaming for socialized medicine in the US. With insurance it's $5 for a 2 pack of pens.

Lol, at pchops. I have never seen anything like that at one.
I assume that tools like GoodRx will adjust price locally/regionally, so that might lead to some variance, but this was my query for a 2-pack of generic epipens. But then again, how many of the general public don't even check to see what their alternatives are when at pharmacy?

Without getting too detailed about my life story, I was born in a socialized medicine country and became a citizen of the USA
It is (well was mostly) the greatest country on Earth in my estimation (aside from the self-hating native apologists)
Doesn't mean it doesn't have a lot of room for improvement.
I guarantee you someone has filled an Rx in the past week for an EPI Pen for $500+ dollars without knowing any better.
But I get we're just gonna go in a circle here.
Yup, it can be found for a cheaper price (but hey, not as cheap as just ordering from India).

P.S. none of this is a political commentary. I think we can all appreciate the irony of being here sharing info on Schedule III substances...I'm gonna go pound back some EPI now and get through a pile of paperwork. I tried Primatine Mist (epinephrine inhaler) before doing a set of chin ups. Set a crazy PR (30?) but felt like a horse kicked me in the chest for a few minutes after. Like tren cough x 100. No bueno. My workout that day ended with that set.
