The balance of power needs to shift back to harm reduction and the customer. No vendor should be allowed to get away with this or drown out complaints hoping to bury them.
Unacceptable. Thanks for your leg work as we raise awareness.
it does need to happen but i won't hold my breath.
other threads (you know which) are also filled with nonsense that drown out the actual issues. (believe me there are plenty)
Lots of shills, brand new users that think it is OK for a source to sell them contaminated gear, actually defending the sources bad product with, "(just filter it yourself lazy)"
there is a strange phenomenon in recent years of para-social relationships and consumers defending companies , as if they are the slave allowed in the house.
i think it has to do with a lack of masculinity, and years of subtle propaganda from large companies themselves.
,
we have strayed from the ideas that made capitalism
in the United States successful for everyone... things like "the customer is always right", which really means that a trade is an agreement between both parties. this morality is not ubiquitous in the world. Which is why you see other countries businesses sell each other garbage to make a quick buck.
holding companies accountable and having standards. we have been demoralized, no longer holding sources to a high standard , and people so spineless they defend organizations rather than their peers.
for example in other countries you can be sued for leaving a negative review.
and that business between Business and consumer is
"take it or leave it"
(sound familiar?)
and business between businesses is a game of who can get one over on the other
a moral and fair trade, sacrificing a bit of profit in order to be "fair" and have repeat business is not understood in many places and why they are falling apart
