Planning around a major surgery

How bad is the other side? My surgeon said the other said looked fine. I guess he’s just trying to milk another $50K surgery out of me?

They never tell you about the gas pains…

Not bad. I do mine early before they get big. I paid $6500 total cash for mine. $1500 was anesthesia and the Dr was $750. They rest the surgery center. In a big major city. Nice rich area hospital with a popular well known Dr. This time I have good insurance. I know it's double what they charge insurance. I tried to get my Dr. the first time to lay mesh on both sides as recommended by a famous powerlifter. He said the same thing...other side looked ok. Some doctors will lay mesh on both sides anyway but he wasn't going to do that.... I guess some doctors won't.

After insurance mine was around $5K. So not far off. I just went with the best robotic place in the Southeast.
