Platelet count and test prop

Quick question in regards to my upcoming first cycle. Does testosterone raise platelet count? I have been diagnosed with ITP (immune thrombocytopenia) a few years ago which is basically a condition where my immune system attacks my platelets. My platelet count has stabilized over the past couple of years but is still on the low side. Will my cycle change these numbers drastically?

Yes...it says error but it's opening the article for me.
MMS: Error

Excerpt from article...
Androgens potentiate platelet aggregation both in vitro and in vivo. Platelet sensitization correlates directly with the concentration and potency of the specific androgen used. Androgens may potentiate platelet aggregation through increased production of thromboxane A2 (a potent platelet aggregator) or, in aortic smooth muscle, a decreased production of prostacyclin (prostaglandin I2, an inhibitor of platelet aggregation).

It opened for me, thanks @Jeffg353

For sure @Jeffg353 i go for regular CBC bloodwork to monitor platelet levels so that will keep me on track. I know one of the "side effects" of testosterone is risk for blood clotting which is why I'm thinking that it might raise platelet count. If that's the case, I just hope that post cycle they won't drop much lower than they are now.

My suggestion would be look into the different pct meds and check the possible side effects or see if u can find their effects on platelet count. Might end up having to use a different SERM for PCT than the usual novaladex n clomid. For example...
Tamoxifen-induced thrombocytopenia. - PubMed - NCBI

Anemia, leukopenia and thrombocytopenia have been reported. Red blood cell, leukocyte or platelet counts should be monitored when using Fareston (toremifene citrate).

Oh wow thank you very much for that article @Jeffg353 my PCT plan was clomid 50/50/25/25 and nolva 40/40/20/20 but I guess this changes things..

Also need to take a look at the dosages. Most of these studies performed are done on females and usually at higher dosages than we would normally take.

Thats a good point @Jeffg353 I think I should be fine with running nolva 40/40/20/20, if I notice any signs of petechiae or bruising/bleeding I will obviously stop it immediately. Either way, I will have routine bloodwork done throughout the cycle which should give me a good idea of how things are going

Interesting, the last time I went to donate blood... They had to change viens, and the first time it almost clotted, apparently the guy thought it was from a high platelet. I did ask if RBC or hemacrit/hemaglobin might effect platelet and he said no.

But I never thought about test increasing platelets. Well hopefully as I cycle off, that will drop for me.

@Marcus i have seen other threads in regard to TRT dose and CBC where their platelets have gone up. I guess I'm expecting them to go up while on cycle but at this point I'm wondering what will happen post cycle. Maybe it will completely "heal" my ITP lol (I'm just kidding but wouldn't that be nice)
@Bullet train exactly what I was thinking since side effect of testosterone injection is blood clotting so I'm imagining that relates to high platelet count?

Either way, only time will tell but I'll be sure to post back in this thread and let everyone know how it goes.

Is it possible to hydrate enough to drop the count at all? I just donated. Prior I was at 56. Haven't retested yet.

Hey guys, quick minor update. First pin was Saturday and had CBC done on Monday. PLT count was 58 which is about normal for me as I usually hover around the 50's. Wasn't expecting a big change from just one pin anyways. I will update back in a month.
